I say we take all the idiots in this board, put them into some kind of natural environment, watch them talk/argue/fight to the death/whatever, film it all, and make a reality show out of it. It'll be the only good reality show ever made, and it'll be hilarious, too. We'll make millions.

Well the PS can't be having any witnesses to his murders, can he?

Maybe something happened between them we don't know about, or may never know about. Like the guy was able to talk the girl into thinking the purpose was a bunch of crazyness somehow, and she lost faith in the purpose which is why the PS was able to kill her. Or maybe she killed herself when she awoke to find the guy and lady dead. Or she witnessed the PS kill the two others, and she lost her faith because "there's no way a kind caring purpose would allow such a murderous monster to exist!"

Ooooor... the PS could be a demented forerunner ^_^; eheheh... eh... yeah that has no backing... too bad >_> just throwin out ideas...

An interesting fact to keep in mind is to remember that Rhue received his sword from a shadowy figure that just stood there not saying anything. It's not Rhue's fault but maybe he is the phantom slasher. His sword as stated before probably just makes him go crazy at some points. What could really help is if we knew who that shadowy figure was that gave Rhue his sword.

well obviously...

and it wasn't one figure, it was two figures that gave him the sword.
one of my Favourite theorys concerning that is that its gaius and rhue completing the loop of the way if that theory is correct.

I know it was two figures but only one handed him the sword...not two.

Interesting theory but probably unlikely.

Ah... Another person who insists on setting up an argument so that, technically speaking, they're still right. Reminds me of myself, ever so slightly. Using the rolling eyes seem a tad patronizing for somebody who just blew off a pretty important fact, though.

Point, but one has to keep in mind that justice isn't exactly absolute, as evidenced by a great deal that relates to Slade. If the Phantom Slasher adopts a certain attitude (I am a force of great justice. I must strike down all who stand in the way of justice. If I am seen, the witness will surely reveal my identity. This would greatly hinder my work and the work of justice itself. All witnesses therefore stand in the way of justice and I must strike them down), then it isn't hard to conceive of his killing any and all witnesses.
Of course, since that theory, as I've spoken of it, doesn't account for why children are spared, I've always believed more in the 'PS kills all 'guilty' people it meets, but children can redeem themselves (or something), so they are spared' theory. ... Gotta find a shorter name for that theory...

Phantom Adolescence theory. Maybe that was'nt a good name but oh well. You just made me realized that none of the victims of the Phantom Slasher is a kid....never stop to think of that.
