"The Illuminati" The True mystery of "The Way

There IS an aura called illuminati but all we've heard about the illuminati is that its a series of swords created by the purpose (i think, something to do with the purpose if he didn't actually create them).

If it is true that illuminati is just a type of aura it would still probably matter which sword is used. in episode 2 traziun says something like "your sword contains both Slasher and piercer auras" suggesting that the sword used has an effect on what auras (if any) you can use. So if Illuminati is just the name of the aura you would need one of the swords capable of using that aura. i think.

However if THAT is true then why does rhue have both illuminati and shadow auras? could his be like some sort of missing link bettween the two types of swords or are all illuminati and shadow swords like that?

usually i would think alot more about this until i couldn't sleep tonight and end up going to work dosed up to my eyeballs with caffine but because its relatively close to episode 6 (or the beta if my wave is still on) i'm trying to limit my obsessive behaviour.

"When talking about the devil he's right at the porch" or something. Then maybe that's why they don't say the real name of the shadow swords (the pandamaare?) but the illuminati, being goody goody are of no harm to be spoken about. To be able to speak abut the ________ (shadow swords) they called them something else than it's true name, but still so one understood what it was. Just as people said "the dark one" about the devil. Then this could mean that blades immensly strong with the Illuminati aura join the group of illuminati swords. Cause Illuminati aura was the aura of light unless i'm mistaken. And Pandamaare was the aura of shadow, so blsades strong in the pandamaare aura joined the pandamaare but because saying pandamaare was bad they called them shadow swords.

Or not... I dunno.

I like the idea that Shadow Swords are Pandamaare. It seems like a good solid type of sword word. So that must mean the Shadow Swords never ever miss.

Can someone go over which of the three non-Illuminati E5 sword auras was which? I know there was one which sapped your XL to attack, that would make a good shadow sword (as opposed to the Illuminati which gives you XL in huge spasms).

The question is: Why would Slade have had these auras? Or did the PS get up to something else with his sword...?

Pandamaare- Shadow
Hatassasar- Cosmic (XL sucking one)
Aionsluh- Atoma (the umm.... red one)

And if for some ungodly reason you want a more detailed explanation...

Illuminati (Light) - High in XL, low in everything else
Pandamaare (Shadow) - 100% hit rate, ignore enemy evasion; thus, never misses. Also the highest poise, so isn't hit often.
Hatassasar (Cosmic) - Drains XL, highest attack, second highest crit and will
Aionsluh (Atoma) - Chance of stun, blind, and prone with every attack, highest crit, defense, will, second highest attack and poise.

I think that the auras weren't so much Slade's (although I can see how he'd have light and shadow), as they were related to what happened with Rhue's sword.

And if the Illuminati and Pandamaare are the actual names of their respective swords, would that imply that Hatassasar and Aionsluh also have significance? Their names are kind of strange to just be sword auras...

i love the atoma one because of the iflicting status thing. i'm training them all though...is that a good way to do it or isnt it worth doing them all

I think that in the end the Illuminati is going to be weaker than the rest. Sure, you can pull out 7 XL a turn with a draw, but I think Aionsluh will be the best at max level. It's got the best or second best rating in every stat, and has a move called "XL Retainer +3" which has to have something to do with gaining XL. Illuminati on the other hand, ends up with the lowest rating of stats in every category except XL. And all the other auras can pull out 3 XL at the highest level, so it's basically a choice between 1 XL and a good draw or really good stats.

As far as training them all, I don't think it really matters how you do it. I for some reason play a game where I only switch auras after the one I'm using is maxed out, starting with the weaker ones and ending with the one I want to use. It's probably not a good strategy though, and with the massive amount of AR needed (10x the other auras!) to level up the new auras, you might as well just level all of them up equally. Also, having multiple transcendent auras at a certain level will give you upgraded versions of the basic aura moves (like Revive 2 instead of Revive). In addition, you should bla bla bla bla bla....

Certain enemies are weak against certain auras.

Traziuns attack had atoma attribute at some point no?

i seem to rememeber being sure that traziun used an atoma attack or something like that but i can't remember now.
