When does it ever say this?
And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.

when Cetsa found Serena's pendant, she and Kloe were fighting over it. Kloe was knocked into the river, and Cetsa started to panic, thinking she had just killed someone. That lead to her becoming a bandit. But, Kloe didn't drown because Traziun saved her. Notice the distance between the Blood Lyn battlegrounds (the one in Ep. 5) and the "End of the Way" (Landorin Stretch).

This theory doesn't really say anything, it's just I think that happened.

Interesting.

When I first saw this scene I thought Lun meant it in a more metaphorical sense. At the time, Cetsa and Kloe were both fighting over Rhue's attention, like two girls fighting over a shiny pendant, caring more about having the prize than the prize itself. That's what I thought Dirk meant when he said the river would show them "the truth."

Course, maybe I'm just missing the forest for the trees.
