No there is not. Where did you get that idea from?

And us Australians are not in tribes, unless you are thinking of the Aboriginals.

no penis tribe

Postby Ultimate Halo Sticker » Wed Jul 20, 2005 4:26 pm

I hate to break it to you but there is no tribe in Australia that shake each other's penises. Whoever gave you this info should be shot. However I wouldn't be surprised if Impossible did this.

So, you guys know of every single Australian tribe in existence?

I read it off some professional sort of site, no idea where exactly.

well if you got it from a professional site i guess. But I thought you were just making up crap.

and anyway I don't think that people who greet each other by shaking penises would have a computer.

And besides. How would the women greet each other?

Professional site, my ass.
Every indigenous Australian tribe has the same basic laws and customs and doing that would be considered uncouth. The only real difference between tribes is location. But something cool about aboriginals is that men are forbidden to associate with their mother-in-law and vice-versa.

Thats like saying that cannibals in East Africa have the same rules and customs as cow herders in Central Africa.

You can't just assume you know everything about everyone in an entire country.

Africans have been in Africa longer than aboriginals have been in australia
and aboriginals have not seen any need to change anything about there society in thousands of years. Hence, an aboriginal from South-eastern Australia could fit in with a tribe in Northern territory easily, same as an aboriginal from stradbroke island could fit in with a tribe at Eyres rock

Seth_lordoftheundead totally burned Bacon with that Sydney comment...

This "official looking" site sounds like one of those "official looking sites" that posts fake laws and fake "interesting facts" about states and countries, and very few of them aren't full of shit.

I agree with all of this Australians-not-shaking penis'-stuff especially this:

Seth_lordoftheundead wrote: Why don't you people listen to Australians when your talking ABOUT australia?

I mean geez, you can't tell us we're wrong about our own country, and how exactly do you define an 'official site'...
...if I make a proffesional looking page full of lots of true facts and then shove a piece of bullshit in it about your country would you believe it?... didn't think so...

In the sense that GameFAQs is a professional site; I don't have any idea where the site was, but it was a really reputable and well-affiliated place. And I can, actually, when the source seems credible, coupled with the simple fact that proving the existence of something is much simpler than disproving it.
