There are competitions, or there are meant to be. But we'd rather get Ep6 from Lun rather than have him spend his time making a competition for something as stupid as titles.

P.S. I won the competition, therefore, I have best title, except for Jera.

You only get ranks with events. That is how LunC made it so people would not go post crazy to just rank up. Post count doesn't matter. You shouldn't get anything for post count. The higher it is just means you have been here longer or your a spammer.

To all the newbies wondering why the forum ranking system is the way it is now:

Let me tell you all a story...a story that is dated back long ago, a little while after the birth of the old forum...

*sits in a rocking chair and opens up a link to the previous forum*

On the night of Thanksgiving, there were two bored teenagers by the names of Spirit Blade Freak and Otaku no Anime (who's name will be shortened from here on by initials). Both had recently become obssessive fan boys of "The Way" (this is an assumption).

While browsing through the forums to see whatever crap people, ONA came across SBF. SBF was making constant polls to see everyone's opinion on certain aspects of the game. OnA boredly answered them all. Soon after answering a shitload of polls, he noticed that both were nearing 100 posts. Considering the fact that SBF had just joined on that day, OnA decided to answer everyone of his polls to see how much he could post in one day.

After a while, the former webmaster of The Way's website, the one known as Ryan, decided to write a review for the game and post it in the forums. The two teenagers commented and eventually it got off topic. All three members post counts and percentages reached to even more godlike heights (Well, actually more like 150-200 posts per day). Eventually, OnA got "tired of this bullshit" and finally went to sleep at around 2 AM.

The next day, the whole forum was in a riot, wondering why there were so many polls and why there were people with extremely high post counts for those who just joined. Eventually everyone, concluded that OnA, SBF, and Ryan were spammers trying to raise their forum rank.

Only SBF's legacy is remembered. Ryan was already disliked by much of the forum, and OnA was loner, so both of them were eventually forgotten.

The End, Bitches

This story can be used to explain:

1) Why the forum no longer has a post-based ranking but a more of a merit-based one
2) Why SBF is regarded as "The Poll King" and former Spam King
3) Why there are moderators

I'm sure there are more, but my brain is currently not functioning well due to the summer heat.
