Anyway, shouldn't the word 'harbringer' be 'harbinger'..
Someone please correct me if im wrong. Thanks..

Phonologically, the addition of the /r/ can be explained in terms of assimilation (both regressive and progressive). Semantically, the reshaping of “harbinger” into “-bringer” fits either of two senses of the term: a) ‘one that pioneers in or initiates a major change’, or b) ‘one that presages or foreshadows what is to come’ (as in “harbringer of bad news”). A following prepositional phrase (“…of change”, “…of bad news”, etc.) seems necessary, however.

"Harbringer" is a very common typo for "harbinger," and when I first played the game, I thought it was just a typo. It made that scene very difficult to understand, but it is supposed to be that way.

Oh! Thank you everyone. It just happened to me that I couldn't find the definition of harbringer so I wasn't sure.

I posted the same thing... I remember reading the man's dialogue the first time I played, but I couldn't find him any of the other times.

Just think of it this way, fella's.
I pulled up some results from Dictionary.com to explain this to ya'.

"Har" could mean "death".

"Bringer" means "To carry, convey, lead, or cause to go along to another place: brought enough money with me."

"Binger" means "A period of unrestrained, immoderate self-indulgence." or "A period of excessive or uncontrolled indulgence in food or drink: an eating binge."

THEREFORE

A "Harbringer" is "One who brings death."
A "Harbinger" is "One who indulges in death."

Althought I'm sure "Indulge" isn't a very good word for this case.

That's how I remember anyway.
