Btw,rescuing Zelda isn't the entire game. its only a fraction of it. lots of it is battling evil.

except for the 1st one. that one's all about rescuing Zelda.

You have NO fucking idea what you're talking about, unless the only Zelda game you ever played was the original. Seriously, this is pure ignorance. Even if it weren't total bullshit (ever play OoT? MM? WW? Oracles? LttP? LA? FSA? TMC? Oh, wait, NEARLY ALL OF THEM THAT ALL HAD STORIES?), that doesn't explain how the games are bad, seeing as last time I checked games are judged by how fun they are.

Its all about the side quests, Platinum/silver rupees, and getting hearts...plus pimpin out ever friggin chick your age/size..That gives me a new Idea...

No, I'm talking about FLW.

And for the record, Zelda is not all about any of those things. It's all about AWESOMENESS. Seriously, Zelda is the most consistently good game series, ever. I'm glad they didn't whore Link out like they did Mario. Mario Kart was great. The Mario RPGs are great. Mario Party was all right... The FIRST time, sans the severe thumb damage. The next six Mario Parties, ten sports spinoffs, four ports (five if you include Classic NES), one shitty pinball game and a Dance Dance Revolution mix are not.

I played them all because Orcarina of Time (Maybe I spelt it wrong but you know which one it is) was good, and oracle of ages and seasons were, not good, but something to do... I only played the rest because 1) in general Zelda is a respected game series 2) I have no reason not to.
... Wind Waker was ok too, but also repetitive, like all the games.

hey look a monster, lets wack it with my sword, like I did to the last 1000... and the next 1000 coming up...

you say that Zelda is to repetitive and that you do not like most of the games.

But Final Fantasy Is the most repetitive series ever and you love it.

point taken..... well I guess I don't hate Zelda as much as I implied.... I just do right now because the 2 latest games out are '4 swords adventures' and 'the minish cap'... 4 swords adventures is just an over glorified rip off of 'the 4 sword' from 'link 2 the past' and minish cap just sounds plain stupid... I cant wait til the next one comes out on gamecube or whatever console... It actually looks pretty good...

but I'm gonna stop now, this topic should be transferred to the 'gaming' section.

It's not at all about whacking monsters, it's mostly puzzles, PUZZLED DAMMIT!

Like going from point A to point B, but to get to point B you have to go to point C kill monsters 1 through 7, get bombs of booming blow up blockage at point R then proceed to point T and collect magical staff of flipping use staff to get past tower at point H and then get spell of supersize from yon tower and use it to activate the doodad at point Y, then you get the magical shoelace of infinite tying and can use it to outmatch the mailmap and thus receive the mailbomb, use the mailbomb to blow up the rock at point Z and wham, you can get the pogo stick and enter point B.
