Interesting...

well in order... I played; ff9 then ff8 then ff4 and ff5 similtaniously, then ff6, then ff10 and I've played a bit of ff10-2 but I just don't like it.

ff9 was too animated, but it was good, I think Vivi is my second favorite person (well.. thing) and I liked using 4 characters in battle. ff4 and 5 where too dogey, and I know thats no reason to not like a game if it has a good storyline, but I just didnt like them that much, too simple. FF 10 was good but I really think that their 'overdrive' abilities could have been a bit more impressive, ff10-2 was just too... well... *shrug*.
ff8 is pretty bad as in storyline, but it is the only one that I absolutle axed at, in fact, if you train up to around lvl 75 before you leave for deling city, the rest of the game is no challenge.

well, I change my mind... ff9 would be my fave (I like the idea of you know... changing, going 'Super Saiyan' if you will) but trance takes to long to achieve.... cant wait to get ff7... in Kingdom Hearts Cloud is quite kick ass and cool.

FFIV and FFV where not dodgy.

I liked using 5 characters in Final Fantasy IV. :D

and Final Fantasy V's changeable job system kicked ass, although it was very similar to Final Fantasy III (I mean the real Final Fantasy III, FYI). 8)
oh yeah by the way. Doovy & Co. are not gone. After all... I am Doovy and Forunner is still here.

I loved FF5, but I couldn't stand FF4. The characters absolutely sucked ass and all through the game I was wondering why the hero was called Cecil. And why how such a pansy ever became a Dark Knight.

I've been debating in my head whether I should say this out loud or not... but truthfully... almost all the character names before FF7 sucked.

No.
The names in Final Fantasy VI were pretty good.

and BTW does anyone know how to get the mini-games on the PC version of FF7 to run at their normal speeds?

I'm trying to do the motorcycle minigame, but it goes ridiculously fast and I can't concentrate on WTF is going on.

Yeah, that's about it. =/ The minigames kinda depend on your processor speed.

I'll just start a heap of random processes to eat up my CPU.

Would that work?

There's a patch you can get probably... And if not, don't you have a "Turbo" button on your keyboard? Because that's what it's for.

in my opinion FF7 was the best, probably because i only played FF7 and FF8, but the charactors were dodge in FF8, i didn't like FF10 because the game just sucked (saw it at my friends house).

i voted for FF7. not that my vote really counts

I voted 8, only because it was better than 10 and those are the only ones I've played so far. Exept the originals, they were pro! I think I played ff7 when I was like 7 or sompthing and died right away, so i gave up and started to play some easier games, like spyro :D

boo...
if you don't like ff7 go play some Hugo or Vinnie the Puh staff!
in order to assess the reality of life, it is necessary at least once to die

I agree completely, Final Fantasy is fucking tedious and boring. OH MY GOD, ATB IS SO SLOW AND FUN-LESS.

You must have been lying about liking CT, then. It uses exactly the same ATB system as all the FFs, as I recall. Just with way cooler music, and double techs, and stuff. 8)

I'd vote for FF5 if it were there, though I couldn't say why I like it more than the others. I haven't played any since 8...I got off the console train years ago.

Your vote was counted just like anyone elses wasn't it? therefor your vote counts... and pretending to have a low self-esteem/actually having a low self-esteem is a reason people will flame you, and having good self-esteem doesnt mean having the guts to randomly flame Impossible although I'm sure we've all contemplated it at one time or another.
And I know this contradics the advice I gave just gave about getting a better self-esteem but I seriously doubt that you saw FF10 and thought it sucked, more like YOU sucked at IT.
Blitzball is the best minigame type thing ever... with the exeption that Chocobos are in a class of their own.
