I loved that system... and I loved the refining system...

Who the fuck needs to use magic or summon gf's? All you need to do is visit places like the island closest to heaven/hel and draw from hard monsters... then junction magic, pull out your fully upgraded weapons and hack the shit out of everything..... or use your large amount of Aurastones for harder bosses.

.... and it's not the money that counts when being a Seed... it's the urge to be able to say "WooT! I was a Seed A throughout most of the game!!!"

I really liked the junction system, because you can junction magic to a attribute and then if it were Fira you start doing fire damamge. But then you get magic like Ultima, and just junction it to anything and boom your amazing.
As for the island closest to heaven/hell those are amazing places to level up. My friend would just wait for Odin to come and then gain 4 levels But they are definatly the place to train, you have a lot of draw points, and they are all really powerful magic, there are powerful monsters, and the entire island is a save point.

or you could use a gameshark or an action replay to get Apocolypse and junction that.

Yeah... but thats cheating..... I don't need to cheat to whoop ass in that game or in ff9 (although I still havnt beaten Ozma...working on it)... and I still havn't seen any evidence of this 'Apocalypse' Spell...except I think Ultimecia might have used it agaist me once.... I don't remember.... she dies so quickly if you exclude all the shit she says.

Ya the final form of ultimica is the only place where you can get it. But its really not that good in the battle, and your basic attack ends up being better.

Unless you junction it to status defence, then it raises it by 200%.

although you can't junction during battle.

FF8 is too easy once you get good attacks..... My battle plan for any boss was just aura stone, limit break (Renzokuken, AP shot, Final Rush), and repeat until win.... and Squall has Mug while Irvine has Revive and Zell has recover in case the battle lasts a while.... but thats it... way to easy.
Now ff9... that was good.... I was never as invincible in ff9 as I am in ff8.

There are tons of ways to play, like no magic, no items stuff, it makes the game alot harder. Um, try playing without upgrading your wepons. Now that is hard.

I tried........ and hated it..... I hate having to handicap myself which is why I like games like Jedi Outcast and Halo... they have a huge range of difficulty levels.....

... and i changed my mind... I do kick ass in ff9 like I do in ff8.
I fought necron and he only got like 3 attacks in.

Zidane is 82, Vivi is 78, Garnet is 79, Steiner is 80.

... and while we're on about ff9 I think it's unfair that Steiner gets the best weapon (Excalibur2) AND the best armour (Tin armour) in the game.....

I was lazy and didn't upgrade my weapons until disc 3 when I got the magazines with the ultimate weapons, and surprisingly enough, it actually wasn't that hard.

I finally fucking got fucking ff7 and I'm up to this shitty fucking place where that fucking douche Red XIII came from and I need to fight some fucking monsters to get some fucking money so that I can buy better fucking weapons and armour because I spent all my money buying a fucking lifetime pass to that fucking golden saucer even though I hope I never have to go to that fucking retarded place again....

...and Cloud from KH after he goes into his little 'trance' looking mode.... you know how he yells a bit then he gets red lightning flying around him and he seems to have like an aura of shadow and he flies around hacking the shit out of you? well I'm trying to find a good picture of him like that, but all I get is fan art where several hundred douchebags have drawn him with black wings like the one Sephiroth has (in KH)... anyone know how I can get a good one?
....wait a sec... does he actually grow a wing like that? He doesnt does he? because then he'd ave that cool looking red cape AND a wing and people who have wings dont wear capes for obvious reasons... I dont usually doubt myself but I just cant find any pictues of him without that retarded wing.

The gold saucer is the best place, in fact that is where you get Cloud's final limit break and heaps of other cool shit. Plus, you have to go back there later on in disc 1 and you get stuck there for a while because the cable car breaks down. Don't diss the gold saucer just because you didn't like getting put in the corel prison, thankfully, you never go there again.
