As much as Burning Flame has betrayed me in the past, I have to agree

You're not taking in the full story to see what's really going on. You're essentially living the events, so as a participent, you will be inherently biased to one side and not hear the other (as you had just said so yourself)

Therefore you are not judge of the universal Good or Evil in this situation.

Sure, that's a fact. So what? You have never addressed this, but merely repeated your non-argument. Do all beliefs have equal validity? No. What about the nature of good and evil would make it special in this regard?

DSOK may be generally full of himself, but suicide bombers have no respect whatsoever for human life, including their own. They don't teach the values every other culture on Earth is familiar with. They're as evil as a real life human being can get, honestly, besides Hitler and communist leaders and such.

This is a good civil discussion of the nature of good and evil. Good show, fellas. Nice points all around.

Winnipeg, and Sarcasm to an extent you make an interesting point that everything can be considered a gray area (or grey area for our British readers) due to the conflict between Superego and Id. But isn't it our control over our id that makes us better than animals and into creatures of thought and conscience? The example of killing a child with plague is somewhat hypothetical and is an extreme circumstance, and in the end calls for a judgement call about right or wrong. What about molesting a child? Calling it a sickness might be accurate, but sick people try to get help instead of repeating it over and again.

DSOK, I find myself agreeing with many of your points. And both you and Impossible are correct in saying that suicide bombers are among the lowest forms of human existence. I fail to see the logic in defending the murder of people at say, a pizza parlor or a discoteque to prove a political point. This is the murder of innocents. Fighting military or police forces could be marginally justified, but killing kids who went to go get pizza? Please.

I'm sure that at some point this will all be tied back to Strata, as FLW tried to do. And as, I've said before, Strata is douchebag.

See now this is the only one of your points I disagree with. I used to think the same until ep5 when you see a bit of Strata's...well not sensetive side... but you see that Strata is 'growing' a bit... like he considered what Traziun was trying to tell him, even though he denied it later on... and I'm almost sure that even though he told Rhue that Lyrra told him to check on him, he did it out of respect because Rhue was a better fighter than he thought... and there is the whole patriotic I'm-gonna-kill-you-because-you-killed-my-true-love thing.... Strata is pretty cool... whether you admit or not...

I beleive in the sacredness of life, I think the BIble said it somewhere... "thou shalt not kill", and I haven't read the koran, but i don't think it says "Smite the unbeleivers with the flame of allah" or some shit like that. If somoene has read the koran please tell me if they have any "you shalt not" type things there.
I hate all religous fanatics, seriously tney all suck. I havent heard of a single religous fanatci who beleives in the entire holy book of their religion. Usually they remove certain things and conviniently misinterprets some other things.
A good example are the doomsday preachers, they only read the book of revalation abd forgot to remember the fact that when the world ends jesus will come and friggin SAVE us all.

Sure we say that but they beleive they are doing the world good by blowing themself up and taking a bunch of people with them. But we see it as an act of total evil.
But to them we are evil. We bomb the shit out of them, we invade their countrys, and we kill their families. And by we I mean USA.

The fact is that Good and Evil do not excite on the earth. They are not real things. They are words. There is no absolute meaning to them. Good and evil are what I have said before, a point of view. Something's may seem like they are absolute evil. Something's may seem like they are absolute good, but there is always a way to look at it from a different way and see that the evil is good and the good is evil.

The final boss is Alan, the douche who you see all over the place.

How dare you insult Alan, he's one of the best characters.
I suppose you think Dippy is a n00b too?

Even in sarcastic form this gets my blood boiling (not as painful as you'd think)! Dippy is clearly the Supreme Overlord of The Way, and will be the ultimate optional boss! Defeating him will cause the very universe to implode from the sheer magnitude of the battle.

Attempting to refute my prophetic fortelling will result in you being wrong and making yourself out to look foolish. Do not attempt to prove me wrong, as it is impossible.

You're winner!

Ultimate optional boss? This is not a final fantasy.

Since when was FF the only games to have optional bosses?
And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.
