Hmm there is a philosophy to "better run than die" in the west and a "to die for honor is better than live in shame" in the east... the east is cooler

it's not just humiliation. some prisoners were kicked to death by american soldiers. anyway, i think we should leave religion out of this. No religion says "torture and kill your enemies", the problem is that estremists use religion for their profit. For example, do you think Bin Laden would actually sacrifice himself to destroy America? I don't think so, he just uses people who are already mad from war and poverty, and easy to manipulate.

I'm not saying what we did to the POW was right, I think it was just a bunch of homosexual soldiers. Why they haven't been court marshaled, I'm oblivious.

It's not the soldiers who should be court marshaled. It's the officers and CIA liasons who told them to do what they did who should be punished

our military is trained to obey orders from those above them without questions. Those low ranking enlisted people did what they were told. You'll note that congress had viewed over 1500 photographs. That sounds pretty systematic if you ask me.

You'll also note that no names have been given of the people who told them to do it. (heck! if I was them I'ld be blabling like a baby to cover my rear) which suggests.... they've probably been threatened by the same people who told them to do it, and threatened pretty bad. don't be surpised if some near relatives die if they misspeak in court.
