Now, dare say that most of Square's games suck, but never say that Chrono Trigger does!

AND NOW, back to the topic. I think we shouldnt speculate too good, because we had so many thought and one of them HAS to be true about Ep6 and we ruined the game to ourselves...
But who knows, maybe Ep5's new version will change a few things.

I have a new teory.
In the WGB it's said that the first one to reach the End of the Way can become the new Purpose, or at least gains some enormous power. At the end of Ep5 Gaius tells Rhue that he's in the former End of the Way. So, if Gaius reached first that place, he could have gained some great power, that would explain the "perfect blade" thing and the "I had to reconsider your existence on the way" thing.

Something funny: The end of the way is actually just water, so people dont know how to build boats and refer it as the end of the way... And the mist is just the fog, which can be cleared if they'd just touch it. Its like people thought the world is flat and that if you sail too much you'd fall from the end... Same thing here exactly.

And the Phantom Slasher is Serena.
