Don't you think that if that were the case, then rather than escalating the plot, it would exaust it, and the game would be a deflated clod of uselessness?.

How so?

You have to remember that the timeline of the game replicates that of the late medieval times, no later than the 1600s. Back then, kids got married before they were 14! they were alot more in touch with their emotions, because they didn't have video games, or school, they just sat there and daydreamed all day. Hey, we can all learn something from this, daydreaming is good for you.

Getting married at a young age had very little to do with the maturity of the kids. I have no idea where you get the rest of this. Daydreaming increases maturity? Medieval people had a lot of time to daydream, and that's why they're more mature than people nowadays? I'd love to hear what gave you such ideas.

Besides, we can all conclude that by Rhue's devotion to her in all the cutscenes, ect. He is no ordinary person. During the storyline we learn that Rhue is indeed, special.(Remember the aura scene in jopaga's lab, where you supposidly go apeshit and kill everyone, while unconcious?) I mean, there are some badass people out there, but even I can't claim to be able to do that!

Yeah, Rhue is no ordinary person, he sucks up auras and sometimes memories from people he kills, his sword occasionally takes control of him, and the people who recognize him see him as someone else or as changed from before, or having forgotten what he's done in the past. So I don't see how Rhue being who he is supports Serena being "real", if anything it casts doubt on all his memories. But anyway, there's no way to know until we find out, so to say.
Maybe if you know your true love is about to move away to college or something, you can stick this shit in the stereo and make the moment last while at the same time listening to pussies whine about bitch shit. Just like you.

It would be pathetic if Serena were a complete fabrication, true. However, I think that given when we've learned by the end of episode 5, it should be hard to believe that his memory of her is anything close to accurate. There's strong evidence that Rhue's aura does not belong in the body he's in (the headhunter calling him Midian, his reaction to mirrors, etc.). Similarly, his memories of Serena and of the Landorin massacre are highly questionable. Whatever basis Serena has in fact, it is probably fairly limited; the fact that you can freely choose things about her likely indicates that Rhue cannot recall those bits at all, and this includes things even so simple as her hair color.

It's been stated here, and there is good reason to believe it, that "Rhue," the character we know, came into existence quite recently, not long before the beginning of episode 1. Many things point to this: his ignorance of basic things (like the plunge and the Landorin massacre), the appearance of the Phantom Slasher (which clearly has some connection with Rhue) at the same time, and the fact that, despite all his supposed searching, he apparently has learned nothing about where Serena might be.

Here is something else. This is from the scene in Episode 2 where a head hunter addresses Rhue as Midian.

RentACop, I wasn't being very serious when I started talking about the whole daydreaming thing. What I was getting at is yes, I do beleive that medieval youth had a better understanding of what they wanted. Heck, I'm sure most of us even had crushes when we were 10 years old. I just think that based on the cutscenes, Rhue seemed very interested in serena, regardless of his age, and just overall happy to be with her. Now keep in mind, that I am taking Rhue's memories as face value, and am NOT taking them in the metaphorical sence that everyone seems so eager to approve.

I mean come on, ask yourself this: with you're first girlfriend did you want to go to work every day that you could to save up money so that you could buy her a gift?

Probably not, but if ya' did, hey...more power to ya'.

Oh, and Non-Sequitur, Congrats on your 250th post.

Here's a good question. What is the point of seeing Lexus's ghost around Estrana? Do you have to see it all 3 time before you fight Rosmar because I did? ...and what is the point of it? Rhue doesnt forgive himself or anything, he doesnt change in any way, so where is the importance?

This line is part of the evidence in theories that E1 only started a very short time after whatever happened to Rhue or at Landorin. If we (I think correctly) assume that the PS' very first strike was at the start of E1, we can definitely draw a connection between these events. I think the beginning of E1 will become quite important later.

Just a few things.
Is not the place where Traziun initiated the Blood Lyn Brawl one of the mighty Citadels?
Also, when we're in the mouontains, we see no sign of the Upper Way, do we?
And finally, to whoever said Serena likes Rhue, prove it. PROVE IT!

EDIT:
Also, anyone remember Cetsa saying something like "it all started when I got that damned pendant"?

It seems like Cetsa can't have dies because there is still so much information about her we haven't learned about.

Like what? It seems to me like we've pretty much gotten her whole story. She was never a subtle character, after all.

She found a bloody pendant, is a thief, and shoved Kloe in a river at some point.
Her story is done.
Kloe can fill us in ont he River Scene.

I think she can die, alright.

She did say that the pendant was the cause of everything that had happend to her, its probably not important, but it could use an explanation.

It may not even have anything to do with the story but I'm curious just how Kygar and Cetsa met and why they decided to form the blue scarves gang. Plus we also dont really understand what happened in that river scene but yea it might be kloe who fills us in.

here is my theory:

Rhue is Jeruh, Lyrra's big brother and Jed's son.
Serena is slade and scartha's younger sister.
Someone wants Jeruh dead
Gaius knew (and loved) Kloe
the scene where serina falls into the river didn't happen in Landorin.

By the way, does any one know when the next episode we be released

Firstly that is something at least I haven't heard before. If she didn't fall from Landorin then what are you suggesting? Is another memory conflicting with Rhue's original memory (if its Rhue's original memory) about how serena fell from the Landorin stretch and into a river? Or is the whole scenario a falsely constructed story and Rhue is chasing a nonexistant person?

As for when the next episode will be released I'd say sometime around thanksgiving or maybe closer to Christmas.

Oh and welcome to The Way Forums :)
