I think it's strange that Rhue didnt realise that they were on the Landorin Stretch until the scene with Gaius. Kinda suspicious really, which makes me think that the above theory may be partly true. I think that whoever Serena is, she does exist (or did exist but she's dead now) but Rhue's memory may not be either correct or real.....
..... but that just screams "Final Fantasy VII"...

I will ask, as I have before: How can anyone at this stage seriously entertain the possibility that Rhue's memories are not wildly inaccurate?

Well, maby Rhue just happens to look exactly like some guy names Midian, and people keep thinking that Rhue is Midian. And for "Dream Estrana", well, Rhue just has some messed up dreams...

Except that he doesn't look like Midian!

So maybe there are two significant characters in this story named Midian. It could happen. Heck, the "man from Xor" might be any adult male who considers Xor his home stretch. Why restrict attention to just Rhue or Gaius?

I dunno i think Rhue and Midian (its possible that there are two or more midians) do have some kind of connection and thats why they get mistaken for one another. And i dont understand whats with that thing behind Midian's head. Anyone have an idea what that is?

Slade is Serena?
That's......new.

I still go with my thinking.
Serena is none of the women we've seen, Gaius is the PS, Rhue and Gaius killed Traziun's mom, Aubuta or whatever was Kalmar's way of going "AHHH! HE'S GONNA KILL ME!" and Kloe and Cetsa were both girls who experimented in college.

Or... if we assume Dream Estrana is just a dream, the Midian we know is just a figment of Rhue's imagination, and the fact that he's named Midian is because Rhue has heard the name before. And once you understand this you will relise that Cerem is right, Slade is Serena. Random Townsperson 5 is the PS, and Aubuta is actually the name Of Traziun's mother who Kalmar all of a sudden had regreted her death randomly in the middle of a battle.
