I know they haven't played good in awhile but i really like 49ers. I was so happy when they beat st. louis but pissed when i saw them play against the eagles sunday.

Opening Game of my school's season: We intercept the ball on the first play, go 20 yards, but then get tackled....by one of our own...>_<

Funny point number 2: A player was wounded and didn't get up for about 5 minutes. 2 quarters later, that same player makes a 60 yard touchdown. We still won, but its the little things that determine whether we win or not.

After coming back from a few months of fresh air from this place, I always thought it was me and Impossy being the only aussies. Heh.

AFL: Good to watch, great when it's your team playing (Go Crows). In terms of playing the game, I'm great with the handball, and thats about it. My kicking is poor, and there is like 15% chance it's straight, lower chance when bouncing the thing.

American Football: Looks like crap. Also looks like our Rugby League/Union which I believe is also crap.

Football in terms of Soccer: BEST SPORT EVA!

And Sydney winning the Grand Final was just shocking. West Coast should hang their heads in shame. They could beat Adelaide but not Sydney... Sigh.

You could only expect some Australian bitch to say that football is stupid and that soccer is the best. The West doesn't really care, because football is the only sport worth anything.

i agree, i hate those cursed swans they bet us by 4 points, the funny thing is though, that's how much we bet them by last time we played them.

oh, and 555, the crows suck, they would of lost by 30 or more points.

Football is the greatest team sport there is. Its not just a sport were anyone can come to gather and play because not everyone is cut out to play AKA most people who hate it.

I don't really care what you think about it. It is tougher and harder then any other sport there is. Its also the most mental. You have to know what to do on what plays against what kind of front and what kind of backfield with all the different variations of slants and what to do when the guy in front of you does and what you need to do and how you hit the guy in the right place when you do get to him.

So ya I am from Ohio. Go Buckeyes.

I applaud this sentiment.
AFL (although Australian, and fun to watch) is almost as shit as cricket when it comes to actually playing it. It should be renamed as GAY-FL (original I know.).
Soccer is boring to watch, and mostly boring to play although more fun than cricket.
Tackle is awesome to watch and play! but I've never made a hobby of watching sports from other countries so I can't compare with Gridiron or whatever you guys play over there.

I used to play soccer as a full-back. I also played football, and though the offical term for my position was "defensive tackle" it would have been better described as "bench warmer" which was fine with me as I would actually pray to God that I wouldn't get put in the game.

Oh, and apparently I live in the same state as War. I don't know how to feel about that.
