The cannon minigame, in my oppinion was the biggest (and one of the only) dissapointment in the entire series. A mini game with as small a reward as that (A lyn rock and a pocite, or something?) doesn't merit me playing it over and over. I played it twice, the charge up is sticky, the buttons are sticky, and it just plain doesn't feel right. I think this minigame could have deffinitely been better.

Once you get the hang of it, it's not that bad. I mean, it's not good, but it's tolerable. It's kind of like the woolie game and the forest run, once you get the hang of them, you can beat them pretty easily whenever you play them again. It's still pretty buggy though... one of those games that really just doesn't work in something as limited as rm2k.

I agree whole heartedly. It seems that whenever you have to mash the keys it doesn't seem to work with this kind of game. especially when you have a key that offers such little resistance like the spacebar. HORRIBLE. but actually, in the game I am working on, I am trying to make a drinking contest that you have to win, in which you have a meter that fills up, and you have to keep pressing spacebar or enter to keep it down, or you'll puke.(Lovely) but I can't seem to get it to work. Anyone know where I can get a tutorial for that? (A little off topic, sorry.)

But yeah, I just didn't like that cannon game.

Lun has a distinct disaffection for button mashing.

You know you can use Z or either one of the enters instead, right? I think I normally play that game with my left hand on the arrow keys and my right hand on the numpad enter key. It's a lot easier to control that way.

Heh, if the reward was a lyn rock I would've never stopped trying.
Maybe if you know your true love is about to move away to college or something, you can stick this shit in the stereo and make the moment last while at the same time listening to pussies whine about bitch shit. Just like you.

Just keep focusing on the middle of the area (above the entrance), that's where you'll hit the most of them. Don't bother with those coming from the far left or right, by the time you've adjusted the cannon, they'll be out of range anyway.

So yea, I gave up.

I found it really easy. I killed 23 the first time and over thirty every other time.

my highest is 35. Which was the first time I got over 30.

Only took me... 4 tries?

It's a matter of getting used to the timing and knowing which ones not to go for.

Lun is brilliant at minigames.
