Actually, Enterbrain gives users of their program pretty much complete ownership rights over their own game - you are even allowed to sell it for money.

Of course, this assumes you paid for your copy. The English version's legality is dubious enough. Not to mention the usage of material from other companies' games (sprites, tilesets, etc.)

and why would u pay for something that u can download free.

its already released... man it rox, hope LunC got it... new scripts... brilliant looking attacks... improved game interface...

since u have to pay for it, i downloaded it off bearshare. Lun, go download bearshare and search RMXP!!! i have at least 3 sources uploading to me at 400 kbps.

I meant the copy I downloaded, last Spring or so.
It was a translated version, so it wasn't fully English.

It sucks in my opinion, though.

lol k... but i just finished downloading RMXP Full. its cracked so it is licensed, it looks something like this:

okay the image doesnt have anything besides the character because i just started the project and the start is already done for me... and i test played it...

and it pwns. the graphics totally rock, and it is in high quality. leet battle animations and pwnage scripts.

BTW Lun, at the screen at where u select what to install, make sure u select EVERYTHING. and also in Bearshare pick the one that says RMXP Full!!!

im not sure if u can WORK with this and RELEASE EP7 though...

what do u guys think?

Well you never know about future games. He only said that he will stick to RM2K for The Way. But you never know, it is possible that he will cahnge for any future projects.

If Lun does ANYTHING in XP, I will personally shoot someone.

RMXP, is by FAR, the worst, and I mean THE worst, version out there.

2k/2k3 are complete ownage compared to XP.

I've had 4 years of experience of RM2K and 2 of RM2K3 and after
looking through RMXP, it seems like complete crap. The only upside
is better graphics. The battles really suck and the importing system is all crapped up. It's just like RM95, which is not very good either.

Lun, do not use RMXP.
