As much as I do like milk, I find it strange that we're the only animal that drinks milk from another animal. My grandmother(A professor of nutrition at SDSU) often scolds me for drinking milk, or even eating red meat.

Water, I agree.

Milk is not good for you. After you're no longer an infant, there's just too much fat. There are much better sources of calcium and other nutrients out there. Milk is designed for babies. There's a reason people don't still nurse when they are twenty. Same with other species. You're supposed to get nutrients from other sources. Water should replace milk as beverage of choice after you can eat solid foods.

Oh, and strawberry schnapps has orange juice beat, hands down. ^-^

Yes milk is fat, but it wont matter if you excersise, or atleast don't sit in a sofa all day smudging marmite on your chest. (I'm talking to you fitz)

Why Marmite? Vegemite is far more effective.

Chocolate Milk is a great drink.

I would like to point out that if cows don't have calfs then their udder will still produce milk, you actually need to milk cows unless they have calfs.

the best cheap, easy to make drink, is mead.

its very simple

just add some brewing yeast to honey
add some water until it is the consistency you want
and wait

this recipe can actualy be made in a bucket underneath your bed, its just so simple.



also vodka and cola is suppost to be good.

Milk is not bad for you. But no, it's not an efficent way to get nutrients. And just because cows lactate when they don't have offspring doesn't seem like a good reason to drink their milk.

Maybe if we were more active. Say, if we were all Huns, rampaging through asia and europe, then milk would be fine. But we spend a large amount of time just sitting around.

SAdly that's true for the general popualce, I guess some children would benefit from not drinking milk, tohugh after all it'd be better if tehy got off their fat asses and did something.
