Its either fake or the guy who wrote that is just an idiot. Yeah, in the future videogames will send electricity into your head. No company would ever take that risk. The it would be kinda funny to see who is stupid enough to electrocute themselves first.

didn't you guys read the last paragraph
But from my experience, if the currents persist, you'd probably be persuaded to follow their orders. And I didn't like that sensation. At all

Hey, this mind control thing is Japanese, and it uses a remote control?

I think we can see what technology Nintendo are using in the Revolution controller... No wonder they expect it to sell so well, they're going to hypnotise everyone!

Believe it - it's AP so it's not ENTIRELY made up . . . and I saw this story elsewhere. The science behind it is plausible. Japanese scientists have been recently pushing the barrier between humans and electronics - they recently built an incredibly lifelike android (I wish I had the link to that article . . .:x). And actually, I'm sure there will be people that will pay for this kind of crap, and probably more to enhance music listening than for videogames, as the article speculates. I can seriously see iPod coming with some kind of attachment like this before I can see Nintendo coming out with some peripheral.

But... but... *looks at sig* There's a lot of fun in Nintendo... (Perfect source of inspiration! And scarily accurate, sometimes, how does it DO that?)

I was just noting how both the Revolution controller and this thing are things shaped like remote controls that actually have revolutionary and amazing functions and were made in Japan. Too big of a coincidence...

That's true . . . but let's hope the next Zelda title, via webcam and a cable connection, isn't you steering some hapless teen dressed like Link with electrodes in his skull through some pillowcase maze. Or that the next Metroid isn't steering some acne-cursed teen through a laser tag course. Actually, that sounds like fun . . . let's hope they don't hook Grand Theft Auto up to this thing.

Did any of you bothered to read it from start to end..? Basically, once they place that plate-shocker-thing on your head and stuff a piece of it into your ears, Using a remote control to shock the right area, They make you feel like you must step in some direction as if to stop your fall, The same feeling you get when you are about to fall and quickly move your foot to stop yourself, Much quicker then you can think.

I'd like to hope i can control myself better than a remote control can.

Believe me... Just because its AP doesn't mean it isn't BS.

Remember on yahoo.com where they showed a black guy swimming through the water with a shopping bag stating he was a looter,

And

Another photo showed a white man and a lightskinned woman, both with shopping bags "Searching for food"

These were both AP photos and shown on yahoo news

Even if it's true, I don't think such a thing would really be published. There would be too many objections.
