Close call between DuckTales, Rescue Rangers and TMNT. And if I had to narrow it to two, it would be DuckTales and TMNT. And if I had to narrow it to one, shit . . . I guess I'd say DuckTales. I wish all that shit was still on. Toons today suck - the Disney Afternoon will always reign supreme.

Cartoons that are good despite shitty theme music - Garfield and Friends and Tailspin. I think I liked the "US Acres" portions of Garfield better than I liked the Garfield parts.

PS - For bonus points: Anybody remember the "Hey Dude" theme music?

I don't watch Pokemon, it is just a series of half an hour long ads for their merchandise, Just like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Beyblade.

I agree, pokemon was repetetive after the first 15 episodes and yugioh is great if you want to spend half an hour listening to a freak with purple hair go on about how he loves his cards and his friends.
Not even my 9 year old brother watches them anymore.

The Yu-Gi-Oh anime originally had nothing to do with the card game, so your logic is fucked up.

Yu-Gi-Oh! without cards? Then WTF was it about?

What do you mean my logic is fucked up?
I'm using what I know to make a judgement.
If there is anything fucked up about that, can someone please tell me?

Yeah. The original Yu Gi Oh anime (the actual first season) came before the card game. It was really weird. It had all the same people as season two, except with different hair colors and backstories. It DID have to do with cards, but I don't think the first season was popular enough to launch an actual CCG game.

Meh Pocket Monsters Green&Red&Blue&yellow rocked. The original concept was damn awesome, But then it got fucked up and turned into a little kiddie brainwashing machine, so the bastards could have more money. If you did not know, The idea of PM was thought up by a 17 year old gaming magazine editor on drugs, After he had a vision while he was high, a bug going from one portable system to another. That reminded him all the times when he was little, playing "bug trainers" with his (now dead) friend, And decided to make a game about capturing creatures and leashing them at each other to honor his friend (and make some money while doing so).

Tele, I know it's fun to watch, but saying Pooh is the best fantasy setting ever is a stretch.

Maybe it didn't start out about the cards, but after trying to watch an episode, I can safely say that Yu-Gi-Oh is definitely like watching two overweight fucktards play a shitty card game during study hall. Maybe if there was some semblance of a plot instead of 22 minutes of "Now since you're suffering fire damage, I'll use X card to supplement it." Instead of airing Yu-Gi-Oh they should just videotape two people playing "Magic: The Gathering" and intersperse anime images throughout. I think I would watch that.

I know I've seen Ducktales or hgeard the themem music somewhere. What is it? I'm sure I've seen it before but all I remember is that it's obviously a cartoon (that has ducks in it, probably children ducks), and I think it's a disney production. Which makes me think or a smaller version of Donald Duck, but thats not right is it?

As much as I love singing "GO GO POWER RANGERS *ULTRA HIGH METAL SINGING VOICE* YOU MIGHTAH MORPHIN POWER RANG-ER-ERS!!!!", I'd have to say Aladdin is my favorite music movie thing.... Well, I don't recal seeing "Oh brother where art thou?" so I went with my childhood fave...

But fuck was gizmoduck awesome!! I mean, check him out!

Yep, I have no idea what the theme music was like, but I remember 3 ducklings, they were all boys, and I think one of the wore blue, one wore Red and the other wore.... maybe yellow? I can't remember.

Too bad powrrangers wasn't an option, the original series had awesome music and I used to love that show as a kid, *shudder* I even had a costume. :?

Since when did power ranger become a cartoon, and not just a shitty live action rpg caught on tape?
