I hate to jump in for just one post here, but military service does change people. My best friend joined the marines back in July and he's done with basic now. He was never agressive before- never got into a single fight growing up- and now that's all he wants to do. He came back for Thanksgiving, and we went to this resturant called Texas Looseys(the girls wear nothing but chaps =D.) There were some other marines there, and we ended up getting in a fight... Now I can't go back

There's no proof that he'll be buff. When my best friend went in he had a six pack, when he came out, he had gained 20 pounds and lost the six pack. He's not fat or anything, just not as toned as before.

You're totally right....doing thousands of pushups and running hundreds of miles with 40 lb equipment packs at 4 AM as opposed to carrying a computer and walking from the computer to the fridge is a minor difference...

Strayed made a game...and I've seen no progress for at least 8 months...

Yeah millitary service might change people, pussies that is. Inderos, your friend probably always wanted to kick somebodies ass, but never thought he could. He probably grew some rocks in boot, (marines go to boot camp, not basic combat training) and decided to impress you because marines are always trying to impress the real lookers. However the only reason he changed is because he was too weak in the head to beat the game. That's ok, not everyone can be a genetically enhanced nano-augmented air-assault uber monkey paratrooper with nerves of steel.

As for that norwegian guy, tall white dudes are the second easiest people in the world to kick the crap out of, right after hajis. He probably went to Jackson or Leonardwood anyway.

So anyway this kid is walking around a mall parking lot and he sees this marine.
-"Hey can I wear your patrol cap?" he asks the marine. The marine leans down and gives the kid his patrol cap and the kid puts it on. He's goes into the mall and runs into an genetically enhanced nano-augmented air-assualt uber monkey paratrooper.
-"Hey can I wear your beret?" he asks? The genaaump looks at the kid and replies.
-"Why don't you suck my dick?" The kid starts to cry.
-"I'm only wearing the patrol cap, I'm not really a marine."

I guess I should finish up with something gangsta.
