I didn't see anything linux-based. The listed posts seem to consist of laughable claims on a valentine's day thread and some major handjobage to Billiam in attempts to save his ass from getting flamed in that particular style that bill was famous for.

It is legal if you buy the software, Can't you people read?

And really, Unless you have a horde of fans as big as the one Laxius Power has or a huge budget for custom sprites ,music, many skilled programmers, And by some miracle manage to get the game on a portable system, It won't sell.

Heh, the plot fails to translate in the game, I mean, At all, And it wasn't that great in the first place... But I kind of liked the first LP game, It offered one thing no RM2K game has ever offered to me before, Challenge. LP's plot and graphics may be rather pathetic but the gameplay was challenging and enjoyable at times. If you stop looking at LP as a RPG by today's standards and look at it as a dungeon crawling game, It is rather good. I prefer an awesome plot but when I want some hellishly difficult puzzles, dungeons, And battles, Nearly no game comes close to LP.

Now don't get me wrong, LP is still just a dungeon crawling game, And that is not what I seek in RPGs, And I still think The Way is the best game ever made. And LP lacks in many areas and is rather bad as a RPG, But I had to show you people the other side, Not everything "the others" say is true. Stop listening to Gameingworld.

EDIT- Actually, no. I can picture it. Multi-billion dollar company executive Ryan decides to leave his New York $2 million sky-rise penthouse and take a walk in central park.

And there he is. All toting his badass PC and a generator around with him. And he's obviously totally ripped, so he can lug it around all over the place. Now that's badass.

I just started playing LP... so freaking stupid.

Hey, I'm squire and I'm barely through puberty. I'm gonna go to a tournament so I can become a knight! Hooray! Let me get my insanely boring and poorly drawn friends with no real personality and go! Why do they want to come too? No Idea! Why do I have a pet slime that can talk?! No Idea! WHY IS MY FUCKING KITTEN GOING ON AN ADVENTURE WITH ME?! NO IDEA! As soon as I leave the village I walk inside a town hall in the middle of the forest. Why? Why not! Then they decide to entrust the task of defeating an evil superfly werewolf to me and my band of fucking 16 year olds, a 45 year old drunk, a slime, and a FUCKING KITTEN. By the time I'm done killing hordes and hordes of EVIL DEMONIC SLIMES!! AND BLUE FLAMES!! AND SCOOOORPIONSSS!!!!! I have more than the 5000 gp they even have offered me...

Not to mention the worst beginning ever...
Cue ominous evil bad guy scene.

Cue hero standing on the edge of a mountain, explaining his entire life to an imaginary person for no reason...

You know, Three The Hard Way covers all those requirments, and has a great plot.

Actually, so will EP6 if the difficulty hasn't been toned down since wave 5.
