Come on, noone is saying anything aginst America as a nation, or Americans as people.

Now a lot of people are saying they "overvalutated" the risk of chemical weapons. I still think the war was mostly about oil, but even if it were about weapons it still would be stupid.
I know America has done a lot of good things, but that can't justify what it's doing now. If I were anti-american I'd just say something like "they're Americans so it's natural they're doing this" (there really are people who says so, unfortunately) , but I know Bush represents just a part of it (and the worst, I assume), like every leader.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear you hate Bush too.

These counters are poor and there leaders keep all the money and wealth for them self's. They don't tell this to there own people. They use someone else so they look at them most profitable people. People believe either waht they want to believe (aka "I'm better than them) or what they're afraid must be true. (Iraq has weapons of mass distruction) whether these are true or not..

And someone said something about the US having a conservative media. I beg to differ. Our media is all owned by large corporations who own lot of other stuff. go ahead and check out who owns shares in what and the names on the board of directors. basically about 500 people control most of teh business and a nice chunk of the government in the US.

our elections are a joke. Look at the 2000 vote where Bush "won" Florida. "they" cast out over 25,000+ gore votes and bush still only won by 2000 or so votes. no one really knows. I even voted for bush and I'm calling foul. The way I see it our media (read large corporations) pick who they want to be president and cover teh the election in such a way so that person wins... look at the way they crucified Howard Dean who I actually would have voted for. Our democracy is a puppet democracy to the corporations. The FED (not elected by anybody) has more control over our economy than any laws or spending bills passed by congress.

And look at teh Enron scandle (Bush once had a huge stake in the company till 5 months before the scandle broke) the only person who is doing any time in prison is a low level accountant!

I like my country, but our leaders leave a lot to be desired.

This is sad, but partly true. You see money is the psychical forum of power and these corporations have a lot of it. This can get bad because only corporations ant more power/money and don't give a crap about who they have to stomp on to get it. Strange how something so simple as paper and coins can have so much power. there are people out there that try and stop this, but they never seem to win that much.

Anyway, middleeastern countries hate america mostly because they're poor, they can't do anything to improve their situation and they see (their leaders show them) rich and powerful america.
I don't think they care so much about their religion, it's just an excuse in most cases. If we give them some food, water and medicinals they wouldn't be so happy to sacrifice their lives to hurt us. Too bad our leaders don't understand (read: don't want to understand) this.

We did it to protect the European countries that were endangered by the USSR. You just hate America, you don't even bother to figure out any parts of the history behind this stuff. I love the USA but I know it's far from perfect. We have a history of terrible things that we have done to many people.....but oh so great liberaly minded Greatchickenman, the USA is made up of humans just like every other country. Find one country without all those same problems and then I will begin to sympathize with your America-hating.

Simply because those countries don't want them to leave. Having US troops in their territory makes them have to spend less money on their own troops. It's a very logical decision that they're making. Use extremely well trained foreign allies to defend you. We are also gradually pulling out of certain countries that are rebuilding their armies. Countries like Germany. What pisses me off is that these countries leech off of us and then talk shit the moment we turn our backs.
