So yeah, sorry for making you read that, but it's actually very interesting that such a game would be made. See, just this year I'd begun playing a game similar to this, only less so. We use washable markers instead, we've only maxxed out at 20 people playing, they're all classmates, classrooms are safe (and talking or being with a teacher too), and time of play stops at 10 PM and starts at 6 AM. It gets a little crazy fast, but it's really a rush. They hardly last more than a few days (I got about 4 targets in a single break period, which is 15 minutes). It really a fun game as long as you have a good understanding of all the rules and you don't let any non-players know about it. If you get in trouble for playing the game, like somebody gets hurt running away or something, then its off. Plain and simple. You play it responsibly, or you don't play at all.

I highly suggest you try it out. If you want my specific set of rules I play by, let me know and I'll send them over to you.

Anyway, that kind of game sounds fun, but I doubt I'd ever play it. You know, same reason I don't play any other sports. Not much of a competitive person, at least when physical prowess is often needed. I might give it a try once or twice, anyway. ... The possibility of a reality show sounds interesting, I suppose, as long as the focus is on the actual game rather than all the angst and melodrama accompanying it. Heh, it would be pretty cool if something like this became a major sport that was televised regularly. Certainly something I'd watch. Because of the lengthy nature of the game and the large playing field, though, it would probably be confined to just reality shows if anything.

Oh, and the link took me to the article the first time I clicked it, but it took me to a page telling me to register the second time and beyond. Odd.
