I thought maybe Rhue somehow got that memory from Slade's aura when he injured him, although that doesn't make complete sense... What about the shadow you fight after Slade? I think he has a connection to all that.

Well for one NONE of the current girls have recognized Rhue, so there's a chance it's Scatha, Chasta's sister or Kloe.

Kloe doesn't remember her past, does she? Not until Cetsa pushes her in the water. This could be explained by the pendant being Kloe's and Cetsa just simply wanted it (Kloe gets saved from the river, meets Cetsa, they become friends, they fight, Kloe goes BACK in the water. Hah hah)

Lyrra could be another candidate for it. She's had a lot of trauma, but why would her name be changed?

Maybe Scatha? She said she "knew" her. Maybe this is some lame-ass poetic attempt to claim Chasta is "dead"? Meh, still.

Little sister? Maybe, but I doubt it. Slade, when he saw Lexus' body, he said "Another girl to bury". Now he can only mean throwing Chasta in the pits OR the little girl. Maybe even both. He has BAAAAD luck with women.

Yeah, why would Rhue see animals attacking, not people? Wierd, eh?

Lyrra is not Serena. Lyrra is that one girl that survived the Landorin massacre, that Traziun was talking about. She was with her brother, Jeruh, when the killings occured, and she returned to her father (Rhue is apparently her father in the dream/memory he has) right after she escaped. Serena was with Rhue only, and why would she change her name to Lyrra? So Lyrra isn't Serena.

Scatha isn't Serena either. She's Chasta, I thought that was blatantly obvious. Chasta is Slade's sister, and there's no apparent connection between that family and Rhue's. And think about this: if it was Serena who was thrown into the pits by her mother, how could she have been running away with Rhue at the time of the massacre? Unless she found her way out of the river, returned to her mother, and then got her face burnt, thrown into the pits, etc. Still, why would her mother call her Chasta and not Serena?

Also, I'm pretty sure one of the girls did recognize Rhue. I think it was either Kloe or Scatha. Regardless, I don't think this means either of them is Serena. In fact, I think Rhue has a whole history that we don't know about, that maybe even he doesn't remember for some reason. I think this because numerous characters have recognized Rhue without him remembering them; for example, Gaius talked about a murder he comitted with Rhue.

Anyway, to wrap up, I don't think Serena has been introduced yet.

It's Scatha who said something about knowing Rhue in Episode 3. This could further indicate that Rhue's family passed by the house Slade and his sisters are living in. Chasta met Rhue, her little sister disappeared, but actually went with Rhue's travelling group, thus she can be Serena.

I don't think that's actually it though, but this could work.
And I'm pretty sure the mother says the little one is DEAD, not GONE. Slade probably had to bury her.

I think Serena is The Purpose and I think Rhue will have to find her at the end of The Way. Don't ask so much why but that's what i feel. Why else would serena be so hard to find. I mean people look for The Purpose don't they. Yet there is no trace of it. Just as there is no trace of Serena. I also think the Purpose is responsible for The Shadow Swords, the death of traziun's mother, The PS and Strata's inabillity to become famous. But if Serena is The Purpose wouldn't that mean The Purpose was in love with Rhue and vizce versa. I dunno just a thought what do you guys think.

I don't think Serena exists. I just think memories of her are the way whoever is controlling Rhue uses to manipulate him. If it is anyone we know, the only person I could see it being is Kloe, seeing as how she washed up from a river as a child.

Rhue has probably never met Serena. He probably absorbed the aura of some poor sod who knew Serena, and now thinks he knew her.
