In my Tech class, my teacher, Mr.Jackson, was talking about imagination. He then brought up three games a friend of his suggested. Dragon Heart, The Way and A Blurred Line. While I didn't play the Way, as he had an assignment to complete a puzzle in Dragon Heart, it's strange he didn't mention the bloody plot of the Way.

True that. Today, i was discovered playing my ds in the back of my electronics class by my teacher and instead of confiscating it, he gave me a couple of pointers on how to get a good feng shui score in animal crossing.

S'not fair. Us foreigners are missing out. I swear I know more about I.T. than our I.T. teacher. Maybe he knows about the technical stuff like resolving Memory conflicts (which he doesn't - I tried it on him) but can he program in three languages? I don't think so. Can he pwn at LAN parties? I don't think so. Has he heard of the Way? Heh. Sure. If he even knows what RPG stands for (not the weapon, mind you) I'll buy him a copy of Win XP.

Is true. My IT teacher is sound as pound, but he admits that he knows nothing about coding etc. That's apparently part of the distinct subject of computing, in his words 'Computing is like mechanics, IT is like driving lessons.'

For my AS level project, I had to design a system in Excel for a hotel booking/quotation thingy. I learned the basics of Visual Basic and wrote a few macros, and I think my spreadsheet was easily one of the most advanced in the class. However I got a 'U' (ungraded) for it. The teacher was quite fair, all the marks are for testing, evaluation, user guides etc, which I didn't do. Is just annoying that I can't do a proper computing A-level, if I want to get an advanced qualification I'd have to do a full time course.

That IS amusing. Throwing an RPG at a Star Wars RPG Villain who shoots at you with a RPG (Repeating Plasma Gun) while playing an RPG. BEST THING EVER.
