XP. Not because Microsoft rules (Because it doesn't... BAD OS'), but because it's the only OS that can run games sanely. Yeah. Being a geek has it's shortcomings.

Maybe my sister and I just play all the wrong games or something, but we've had more trouble with Xp and gaming than we ever did with 98.

Xp kinda imploded on itself when I ran it on my laptop last year. Then again, my laptop is pretty old, it makes just about anything implode. But right now I'm using 2000 pro and it works pretty well.

I close this discussion in the name of sanity and stability. Then again, Impossible hasn't been around much. But you can't be too careful.
