I still know the song by heart. Oh god the memories of this song.... Good times, good times.

Nice one Tele. Almost forgot its that one sunday I spend an entire day faking my love for god, not just one morning....

Easter is so overrated, if it wasn't for the holidays and the chocolate then nobody would bother.

Why is easter around anyway? I get the feeling it's another Jesus related thing, but he was born on Christmas and thats about the only possible egg related thing in his life I can think of.

Eh. Celebrates his death and resurrection. It means chocolate and a cupla days off, so I'm not complaining.
Someday I may make a good signature.

Oh yeah.
I wondered why my dad woke me up at 10am and made the family walk up a hill with some church group while people up the front were singing and lugging around a huge wooden cross...
...I was reading Wheel of Time  .

I tried to give up religion, but I find myself sometimes believe stuff in thre bible against my common sense and scientific mind, and I believe there was a Jesus and such.
However I don't (think I) believe in heaven and hell, but when I sit down and try to mentally straighten myself out about what I do and don't believe I get lost in my mind.

I still don't get the link between the Easter commercialized and Easter religiousness...ism...stuff...

It's like "Oh hey, didja hear? Jesus came back!" "WHAT? OH FUCK! HIDE THE EGGS! Don't forget to color them! And if anyone asks, they came out of bunnies."

Easter was a Pagan holiday first [or maybe it was sumerian]. (OH NOES! WE STOLE ANOTHER HOLIDAY FROM THEM!)

I think that they decorated eggs and hid them as a game. The rabbit signifies the livelihood of spring. Eggs signify the beginning of life. Basically that's what spring is. The rebirth of life. Also I think the rabbit signifies fertility because they fuck A LOT.
