Why do people think that this whole Israli-Palestinian conflict thing has only been happening in the past century or so?
Israel has been at war with the Arab nations since 3000B.C.
The stupid thing is that Arab's and Israeli's are decended from the same guy. Abraham (or Ibrihim if you're an Arab). The story goes Abraham (formerly called Abram) was living in the land of Ur (modern day Iraq) when God tells him to go to "The promised Land" otherwise known as "Canaan" which is modern day Israel. Abraham amd his wife were getting on a bit and wanted a son so Abraham's wife gave Abraham her Egyptian slave girl Hagar to have sex with and they had a son called Ishmael who later became the founder/father of the Arab nations.
Abraham then had a son with his wife and called him Isaac.
Hagar and Ishmael took the piss out of Isaac so Abraham's wife kicked them out of their camp. Hagar and Ismael were dying from water exhaustion when God sent his angel to help them but God told them that even though Ishamel would become the father of a nation he would be wild and would be always at war with his brothers.
Later on Isaac had 2 sons, Esau and Jacob. Esau became the ftaher of the edomites and Jacob was the father of the Israelites. One of Jacob's sons, Joseph, was his favourite son. His other sons didn't like this so sold him to Egypt. Joseph became the Pharoah's right hand man. There was a famine in Canaan so Jacob and and family went to Egyot and lived there.
Then the Israelities were enslaved for 400 years.
God then sent Moses to rescue them and bring them back to Canaan.
However, when they finally got back the land was filled with loads of tribes. One of those tribes was the Phillistines, who are now the Palestians.
If anyone deserves to live in Israel is should be the Israelites, especially considering all the shit and oppression they've been through. Well, that's my opinion.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.
