actually a good book by David Brin called "Earth" in which the Swiss get nuked becasue they try to take over the world using there banks as financing. (of course that's just back story)

Religion is the cause of less and less conflict these days. You think shit in the Middle East is bad now? Go back in time and see what religion does. People are becoming more and more tolerant of other religions, cultures and races. Greed, nationalism, imperialism and fascism are the leading causes of war.

Realistic communism is fine, although impossible to pull off. "Communism" that we deal with is actually fascism.

Actually, the man they executed was not going over to "talk to them". He was doing research and was planning to create a business over in Iraq. They discovered him, and executed him in reply to the torture of Iraqi Prisoners of War (P.O.W.s).


Well I take it he won't be starting that bussiness now.

Religion is just a thing used by so-called goverments to manipulate people, today it doesn't cause any war, and even in the past a LOT of "religion wars" had really little religion in them.
