I will admit having a save pont a littel closer to the attempt would have been nice. maybe you all can persuade Lun to do it for you in an update. i was only ever able to get 30 once. keep in mind I'm the alpha tester. imgine whatr the requirement would have been if i had been better.

I'd like to do that, maybe then I'd be able to get 30 kills. But if Lun designed it that way then thats the way the way is meant to be played.

my highest is 35. Which was the first time I got over 30.

It's a matter of getting used to the timing and knowing which ones not to go for.

My second time playing I managed to get 33.

My best is also 35, and I get 30+ about one in three attempts...I have a trick I use to make this mini game easier:

Aim the cannon all the way to the right, hold the space bar down, and tap the up arrow to fire. This will drop the blast directly in front of the gate, and you should be able to get most of the blue scarves that come down the middle of the field easily. With good timing, you can also hit the blue scarves coming from the left just before they enter the gate, allowing you to pass 30 kills.

And I do agree that there should be a save point just before the mini game. After sitting through Hill's spiel and the instructions three times, I start wishing I could turn the cannon on the townspeople instead. It's not just having to sit through it repeatedly, it's that it takes longer to sit through than to play the minigame.

If you get above 30 you get Stricite and Focite, 20 gets you just focite, and at 10 you dont get anything, but she doesn't yell at you.

The most I've ever gotten is 29. That's right, I was one short. Eventually I just gave up and F9ed myself the kills. I EARNED THOSE NOTCH ITEMS DAMMIT, AND I'LL BE DAMNED IF YOU'LL SCREW ME OUT OF THEM HILL! I'LL TAKE THEM OFF YOUR COLD AND SLIGHTLY CLAMMY CORPSE IF NEEDBE!

This is how I did it:

Hold the action key down.

Quicly tap the "up" arrow key

Aim for blue scarves on the left side of the screen only

This should dramatically increse your rate of fire, while still requiring a certain level of skill to finish. Happy shooting!
