well...I saw it today. It was okay, in my opinion. It might've been better if I saw Xmen 2...

I saw that movie yesterday. It was kind of all-right but I was kind of pissed that Cyclops died before he got to do anything.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.

Tha's a bold statement considering most anime is bad (Mostly due to disimilarities with original Manga, which is undoubtedly awesome) and also 'cos of the mass amounts of hentai on the internet. Potentially, millions of hentai nerds loath you now.

Anime is to hentai as Movies are to Pornos. It's just a different way of expressing another desire of the flesh, but with a different medium. Plus, there's some crazy shit you have happen in hentai that you don't see in pornos, and special effects cost way less in animation than in a movie. Honestly, I don't give a damn which I get, as long as it does the job right with a high-enough quality.
As for anime...its to make money usually. I can count the number of manga-to-anime shows I liked. It's roughly one so far, and that's FLCL, only because it was easier to keep track of some of the dialogues.
Anyways...I disliked the inconsistencies between the real X-men facts and the movie, especially the Juggernaut. At no point is he a mutant. He gains his powers from some god called Cyttorak, not mutation. They said he was a mutant to allow Magneto to meet him on the truck headed for the clinic for de-mutation. They also said he was a mutant and used that 'fact' as a plot device because the boy who can leech powers would be so fucked if Juggernaut hadn't been a mutant, which, like I said, he really isn't. Furthermore, I don't think they affiliated him with Charles as stepbrothers. There were too many cool characters left out and the room for the sequel was annoying.

Are you sure? I've got the manga right here, with a copyright for 1999 to Gainax, and a wiki link to the original release of the anime in 2000 for japan and 2003 for the US.

And if you want to get all fuggin technical on me, I'll kindly inform you with the fact that they used parts of the manga in the anime and commented that they had to stop using it, even though it was easier for the animation producers to use.
