My life is actually going well for once. Before I elaborate I will tell of the events leading up to yesterday. Okay, now in College me and my fellow ICT students have extremely long days, typically 9:00 AM - 5:15 PM. On fridays' it is slightly shorter, 10:45 AM - 4:00PM. On fridays we have 3D animation and modelling and animation. On wednesday's it is usually good but on Friday's we have a lecturer who doesn't know how to use the software. During lunchtimes we have nothing to do but sit in the corridors. In the IT block there is a room which is used for exams. The exams are "Key skills" basically, there for people who screwed up their exams. Whenever there are exams the "Keep Clear of this area" signs are put up and we are forcefully told to move, even we are sitting doing nothing, making no noise or anything. Once we were even told to move away when were outside! The Exam staff make shit loads of false acusations about us, they claim we are threatening and don't speak coherently and that we're menacing etc and they tried to make out we stole the exam signs despite the fact it was baltantly obvous that there was not a shred of evidence. The fact we did do it doesn't matter but they blame us for everything. We were sat outside and they told us to move and when we tried to reply they said "Speak clearly or not at all" despite the fact that me and the other guy who was protesting have genuine conditions which prevent us from doing so. Our block is used by Chav's from the Engineering section and the contents of their skulls combined wouldn't fill an eggcup, they constantly destroy equipment and my IT class always gets the blame. OK, that's all the bad stuff.
Yesterday, which was friday, me and my fellow students walked into college, expecting the usual bullshit. We were told that we no longer have 3D Animation and Modelling on Fridays anymore, so we now finish at 2:15.
We had a talk about the exam people and we told our side of it and we successuflly filed a complaint against the exam staff and we're pretty sure that the exam staff are going to have to move from our IT block and that the old exam room is going to be made into a common room.
Now, during lunch we sat down, bored and then one of the guys who had a moped went down to KFC and bought a family sized chicken bucket deal for us all and I got to keep the litre bottle of pepsi and becuase we finished early we wandered around town for a bit and actually didn't have to wait ages for a bus. The day before was well good as well becuase as I got off the bus, some of the chavs from Engineering tried to 'Happy-Slap' me as I tried to cross the road. Once on the other side I turned around and shoved one into the wall despite the fact there were 3 of them and they were all older, bigger and bulkier than me and one had a knuckle duster and I had shit loads in my bag and I was really hot, tired, exhausted and weighed down. They tried to shove me into the wall as I walked off and it took them 2 attempts to do so despite the aforementioned 'advantage' they had over me. And they waited until I had walked about 5 metres away until they said anything. And yesterday I learnt the best guitar solo I have ever heard in a single day. The guitar solo in question was Eugene's Trick Bag from the 1986 film Crossroads. My life is actually going well for once. Yay.
On a scale from 1 to 10 my life has moved from 1 to 3.5.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.
