One thing you should all know. I'm terrible at putting things into words.

Telephalsion wrote:If you were joking say so after the first response to said joke, and preferably not with an insult, it'll save us all time and agony.

Finally, someone who understands the pain. But where have I insulted anyone? Seriously, I can't remember. I may have done so indirectly but if I were to directly insult them I would probably get banned and when I get pushed enough to insult someone I usually go overboard.

People haven't died in Christ's name, they were killed.

Gee, ever heard of the Spanish inquisition? Or better yet, the Crusades?

That was Catholicism. They weren't really dying in Christ's name. The pope just told them that dying in battle would get you a place in heaven, which was a load of shit as if they were really Christians then they would gone to heaven anyway. Here is some evidence. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_Inquisition
People who kill in Christ's name or deliberatley get themselves killed in Christ's name and Christ's followers as Chrisitianity teaches against this.
Same goes for Islam. They teach against suicide but here you get Osama Bin Laden and his motley crue shouting "Jihad!" whilst dying in a ball of flame. And before you give that, "Oh, they say you're allowed to die in Jihad" that is crap. In Islam Jihad is only okay of their Relgion is threatened. Since noone is threatening their Religion except for other Muslim groups their whole concept of things must be warped.

When did I say that?

I wrote:and if I were to meet you in person then you spending a lifetime in hell getting tortured by Beelzebub and his minions would be a joy compared to what I would do to you in 5 minutes.

I just love overusing descriptive language, it's like wiping your arse with silk.
ReaperGal wrote:Someone here is filled with christ's love...

Well I have issues.
Yes, yes I am. As I said before, at least I think I did, it takes a lot for me to hate someone. I hardly ever hate someone for more than a few hours unless they're completely and utterly horrible. I can't be arsed to define horrible because it would take to long. Just becuase I dislike you doesn't mean I won't forgive you. I was actually willing to put this behind us.

StrayedWanderer wrote:Mature men do not do these things, they do not fight for the sake of fighting, they are not braggarts, they aren't flat-out rude, and above all else, they TRY not to break under pressure.

Before now I haven't gone overboard. Don't blame me for not being mature. I've suffered a lifetime of torments etc which would have broken anyone else years ago. You try living my life for just 5 minutes. The despair would crush your feeble intellect in the dirt. And now that my gran and my 1 month year old nephew have died within a month of each other, you can understand if I'm not in the best of moods. And before you go saying, "You can't say you're life is shit becuase of poor people in Africa having shitter lives," I'm talking about mental and social torture not physical.

ReaperGal wrote:Of course I'm tarring all religions with the same brush. I even said 'Not even buddhism is free from bloodshed,' because it's true.
Therefore you are discriminating against Relgions and are a facist. You repulse me more than a skunk juggling dead hampsters, standing in trash can full of grilled infected cheese, burnt fish and old yoghurt, whilst wearing mouldy diapers.

Great ChickenMan I was only arguing with the whole fetus thing just for the sake it. It's amazing how you repeatedly get things wrong and draw things up out of bullshit. No, I'm not pro-life or anti-choice.

Great ChickenMan wrote:And another thing that religion creates are people called extremists. There are the people that blow up busses or office buildings. These are the people that think that it's okay to deforest the earth and rape it of its resources, because the judgement day is coming soon anyway. These are the gentiles that donate money to Israel because the Jews need to have their own country for the end of days to occur.
The only reason we have extremists is becuase either a) stupid people misread the teachings or b) some guy wants to further his own power and so recreates his or her current religion to his or her own liking. So therefore, it's these people which are to blame.

How about now I have an I.Q of over 160? hmm?
I.Q doesn't mean SHIT.
. I was just saying I was smarter than the average kid. And if I wanted to brag, I have an IQ of 210, that's boasting.
You're only half right about the IQ thing. IQ does not prove your intelligence.
Wikipedia wrote:An intelligence quotient or IQ is a number derived from a set of standardized tests. These tests measure a person's ability to conduct a number of tasks to which most people raised in that society will be exposed, and so measure a person's ability to absorb and repeat mechanical intellectual tasks. Component tests are generally designed and chosen because they are found to be predictable of later intellectual development, particularly with respect to literacy.

IQ tests take their name because many IQ tests have been scaled based on the testers' assessment of the subject's relative cognitive abilities ("intelligence") as compared to different age groups. IQ tests do not purport to measure intelligence the way a ruler measures height (absolutely), but rather the way a race measures speed (relatively); IQ is described as a "quotient" because, originally, it represented the ratio between a person's "mental age" and actual chronological age. Likewise, IQ tests are generally designed to meaningfully assess learning discrepancies and deficiencies in comparison to relatively homogenous cultural groups.

The principle practical purposes of IQ tests remains the diagnosis and treatment of learning disabilities, including dyslexia and the assessment of individual strength's in educational and employment contexts. Variances between different component tests often indicate a person performance on some component tests is limited by a neurological or other learning disability, who may be assisted by intensive educational intervention. Substantial test design and research focuses on the ability of a test component to predict later difficulties with reading and learning.

For people living in the prevailing conditions of the developed world, IQ is highly heritable, and by adulthood the influence of family environment on IQ is undetectable. That is, significant variation in IQ between adults can be attributed to genetic variation, with the remaining variation attributable to environmental sources that are not shared within families. In the United States, marked variation in IQ occurs within families, with siblings differing on average by 12 points.

IQ scores are designed to correlate with academic success, and have been found, in differing degrees, to correlate to job performance, socioeconomic advancement, and "social pathologies", but it has also been shown that the correlation of IQ to achievement varies based on other factors, and this issue remains controversial. Flynn, 1999. IQ scores have been taken by many psychologists to be a proxy for intelligence, and a measurable definition of certain types of intellectual ability, but generally not taken to represent intelligence perfectly or to represent all types of intelligence (e.g., creativity). Recent work has demonstrated links between IQ and health, longevity, and functional literacy.

The average IQ scores for many populations were rising during the 20th century: a phenomenon called the Flynn effect. It is not known whether these changes in scores reflect real changes in intellectual abilities. On average, IQ scores are stable over a person's lifetime, but some individuals undergo large changes. For example, scores can be affected by the presence of learning disabilities.

I serioulsy doubt that.

Telephalsion wrote:Wind Power does suck

I think we should use wind power until we either:
a) Find a way to make Nuclear Power more cost-efficient, safe and effective and/or find some way to recycle Nuclear Waste
or b) Find some way to make Anti-Matter into a viable, feasible energy source. 1kg of Anti-Matter could power a car for 10,000 years.

I would now like to take the time to apologise.
Okay, here goes. Basically, yeah, I'm sorry for being a retard but hey you provoked me even though I should have controlled myself more, but with this in mind I have been pretty tame and I don't believe I have said anything which could seem insultive. I'm sorry for saying your opinion was bollocks but you repeatedly said mine was too and tried to disprove it.
At the end of the day one of us is either going to be very wrong or very right and also all of our opinions are irrellevant as it is impossible to tell what is true and not especially considering the controversy surrounding everything. And now my Mum is bugging me to come of the computer now, so basically, yeah, whatever, bye. So, that is an apology, yes I am apologising, So therefore the random factor x is disproportionate to the random factor of y. So, in short term, Sorry fro defending my beliefs in a shit way.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.

there's a reason I locked the topic, so it could die, and wind power sucks the area required to make it sable is just too big, and we really don't ahve the materials to compensate for the power we need.
Wind power sucks, it's a good supplimentary power source though, but nothing you can base a society on.

Let's give it a rest, if you feel like having to clear things up with individual members then do so in pm's.
I think most people knwo where you're coming from with your arguments.

If you're calling reaper a facist you're calling me one aswell, and then you're wrong, please study facism.
Saying that all religions can create bloodshed isn't facist.
Facist means that you undermine demochracy and beleive in the rule of the strongest and a iron hard dictatorship where the weeakl surrender to the strong.

If people misread teachings then the teachings themselves are flawed. The perfect message is the one message that cannot be misinterpreted.

Please stop this public attempt to prove your worth, if anything you're giving fodder to the people that have insulted you.

(Anti matter cannoct exist in our universe, the positrons would collide with electrons and disintegrate, the antiprotons and protons aswell, along with anti-neutrons and neutrons, and this instantainously. Unless you contain the antimatter, which requires power, and I assume you're going to use wind power to do that eh?)

Anyways, nice finishing text there sling.
