It is in human nature to be selfish. So therefore, one could argue that human and human life itself are selfish. The only way to prevent this would be to reprogram the human genome, which obviously is not feasible. A Utopian society is possible though. Don't give up trying.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.
