We're talking years ago.....Back when Brock Lesnar was new and eddie guerrero was still kicking my friend. The question is, do YOU know what is going on....The answer is an unimportant "yes", however, I'll follow it up with "Does teen give a damn about wrestling?" which is a definite "no".

I have enough whitey 'rappers' in my life already, so I gave up on that fake BS a long time ago...DO. YOU. UNDERSTAND. ME????

Yes i do, but the fact here is the wrestling you are refireing to is entertainment wrestling. I am talking about olympic style wrestling.
You must have got lost when i made a reference to Ken Shamrock short career in "entertainment wrestling" but really that has nothing to do with the conversation. I care less about the WWE, were talking about UFC, were people actualy fight, by using a mix of boxing, wrestling, martial arts, and submisssions.

You say WWE and I automatically assume you're one of those fans....I don't give a damn about the wrestling that's professional or olympic. I know that there's a "Captain America" of Wrestling that won some gold medals too. I think it's Kurt Angle. Yeah, him...

Oh...and by the way...If it doesn't have chairs, I don't care. You know...if you want to call down the thunder and piss me off, what with the rude responses, I can go on a little rant about how the greeks did the olympics naked. And how that was just gay when it came to wrestling then. Yes, gay, naked, public, wrestling. I know I'd TOTALLY be proud to carry on such fine tradition in modern day society.

Most of my high school's wrestling team was gay, actually homosexual, not like... I think they were gay, they all at some point molested or fucked another male.

First of all, allow me to apologize if my post came off as "rude". Not the intention, just trying to redirect you to the point of roman greeco wrestling and not world entertainment wrestling. The mentioning of wwe was to help you maybe reconize a rather popular name, Ken Shamrock, who is fighting in UFC this weekend.

Now for your fun fact about wrestling...still wasn't gay, atleast not then. Back in that time homophobia was non-existent, and their wern't alteritives to the attir one could ware. And i'm sure after their matchs, most of them probably got laid by several of their countries finnest women, since wrestler were the heros tot heir native lands. Now two guys wrestling naked is 99% chance of being gay, but back then more like 0%.

Also if you care nothing about wrestling or mixed martial arts then wants the oint in posting in this topic?

I agree with Teen, Wrestling, entertainment or no, still sucks is just a "Man-Sport" as you put it. But there are other "Man-Sports" that don't involve relying completely on brawn alone and require some skill. Although a tiny amount of speed might be required. To sum up, wrestling is for brawny idiots who can't do anything else with their body and most probably can't do anything at all with their minds.

Though IF WWE was real, I wouldn't mind it that much. As in, people actually got hurt (I know there are a few of those who have died, and those who are actual nutters and are hardcore (Mick Foley/Mankind/Cactus Jack/The Homosexual Avatar)). I don't mind Mick because he's insane, some of the wierd "gimmick-y" matches he had in Japan were reasonably entertaining. But imagine a show, where people actually fell off huge over-the-top cage-like structures onto elabourate tables after being smacked around the head with some 2 by 4 with some barbed wire around it, AND IT ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING! Imagine that.

Of course you're not talking about the rubbish that is WWE. And I'd definatly prefer this UFC biz, but as far as I'm conserned, wrestling isn't a fighting style and, when without chairs, is damn boring to watch (As well as gay). I'm sure I'm not the only straight male who doesn't enjoy watching other men roll around in tight sports wear.

Here you will find the officia list of fighting styles of ultimate fighting and mixed martial arts, their you wll find wrestling listed several times, proably hinting at the importance of the style.

Now your entitled to your own opinion on what you think, however, your opinion is wrong. Now I wouldn't argue Squash with you because I'm sure you understand the "game" much better then I do. So you should probably accept the same fact the I know more about "mixed martial arts". (Though I'm not an expert and I'm sure you are not as well.)
Read that bit? Of course it's my own opinion, but why should my opinion be wrong because wrestling is an official style? Just because whatever rules say something IS something, it doesn't actually MAKE it that something. Now I'm not saying that it's not a fighting style, but I just don't consider it one, and if it is one, it's definatly one not worthy of my time and effort.

On a side note, I know bugger-all about Squash. I can accept you probably know more about "Mixed Martial Arts", but then again, my area of knowledge is limited. And I tend to completely ignore the commercial area of things. But I don't know why you would assume somebody has more knowledge on a topic than you based on a conversation which, oddly has very little talk ON Martial Arts and any form of fighting. Hell, I just mentioned Squash in passing and already you assume I know more about it. I probably don't, it just looks damn cool when it's decent.
