People keep saying that The Way would be impossible to do. Most of you are thinking too big for the project. Yes, we're going to have to admit that it will never be a massive blockbuster epic, simply because its not Hollywood material - it's better than that. It's definately art house worthy as a film. It could become a cult classic.

Lun is a genius so I should think he'd be able to write a scrrenplay for The Way which would make it acceptable by Hollywood without ruining it.

Do you think Lun ever feels depressed and then just reads any post with his name in it to perk him up? Every time we use the word "Lun", it's usually accompanied by major lun-handjobage.

I have full faith in Lun and his writing abilities - most production companies would insist on making their own print on it, and beleive me, I should know.

Actually some independant film makers do start their own. And besides, look at the Coen brothers. For their first movie, Blood Simple, they literally went door to door to get funding for it. It actually became a pretty well recognized movie because of the fantastic script. So hell, if they can do it, Lun can.

Frankly (pun intended) I doubt Fwacho's very very popular outside his homecountry. I would try to get the book, but I'll have to wait till within a few days before I can touch any cash... But still, I doubt it would make him enough to pay his rent this month...
