I'm attending university now, which means I have no life outside of it. I'll get back to you all when, or if I get some time to spare.

I never understand why people say they don't have time to do anything else while going to college... Is there something I'm missing?

Yeah, I'm in college too, and I'm finding myself pretty busy. The food is great though.

You get food? Lucky bastard!

All I do is socialize, go to classes and try to study.

How is Uni anyway?

Harder/easier than school, more/less fun, is/isn't worth it?

Because I finish school next year, and all my life I've planned to go to Uni, and I have my family telling me to go, but I've got no motivation for learning right now and I'm not sure if I should bother.
Of course I've planned exactly what I'll be doing if I don't go to Uni, and needless to say it sounds like an infintely more fun option, but probably not a smart one.

Well I go to college and I managed to go on Crestfallen all the time, well, until they blocked it. The trick is to spend quarter of the time doing work quarter of the time on crestfallen and then half the time 'socialising'. That's what I did and I managed to pass the first year with a Distinction.

I spend 9/10th playing games and 1/10 studying. Socializing is what fell out of the boat  Of course this isn't a US college so I don't stay over at the place, I still go home every day.
I have two very good friends, that's all I need (and no they're not imaginary as a pre-emptive counter to a comment about a guy with no life and imaginary friends).

You need to be able to study, and possibly even ultra-cram, for days. The courses are hard, I gues, I've only just begun, but that's my guess.

You meet tons of people, and make friends depeneding on how much you socialize. I've already gotten some friends, particularly thanks to the get togethers our elder classmates put together to get us introduced to university life.

If you want a high paid job, then further studies is pretty much a must.

The only problem I've had with college so far is writing so many fucking essays... that and it's just too boring.

And Forerunner, two suggestions.

1) Kill yourself.
2) FOR GOD-FUCKING-SAKES, STOP CALLING IT UNI.

I personally find that University is a waste of money. With University you have to pay tuition fees which are horrendoulsy expensive, whearas at college you don't have to pay until you're 19 and you get between 10 and 30 quid a week, which you don't have to pay back. After I finish my National Diploma I can move on to a Foundation Degree, which I won't have to pay for, and then I end up spending less time at university and I end up paying less.
