=SPOILER ALERT= This is for those people who have FINISHED E6, and wish to discuss theories and stuff. Do NOT use it as a help board.

Rhue having memories of certain areas he just visited. Because we all know hes not turning anywhere, and is going along a straight line his entire life.

A 3D Torus (Ring) is the most likely, shortly followed by infinte land mass of infinite size, An actual planet is a distant third.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.

Why is a normal planet 3rd? And why is a 3D Torus (Ring) so likely? I MUST KNOW!

Don't worry. You needn't worry about such things. Didn't you know thinking gives you wrinkles and, in your case, Aenyarisms. A 3D Torus is far more likely than a planet. It all depends on certain conditions etc etc and it's far too complicated for you to understand, not to mention I can't be arsed.

Explained is for everyone else then. Considering your the only one who seems to think this is the most likely possibility.

As much as I despise the concept, I must invoke Occam's Razor, both of the Torus Theory and the Planet theory are as likely to be true, but the Way being an actual planet relies on our own world while suggesting a ring world is falling back on theory, While The Way is different in many ways from our own world its roots still lay within it, therefore, the most simple and realistic explanation could very well be the right one.

Evidence such as what?

The best evidence is that Estrana is built on top of Jawnwen.

That is only a defiant fact as long as the Estrana of Rhue's mind is consistent with that of the real way. I have a lot of trouble believing that part myself. Or have you found evidence other than the summoning pits being under Estrana in E6?

Sacrifa said that when they were digging under Estrana they found Janwen. Thats how he conducted the whole demon ritual that destroyed Estrana in the first place.

The torus theory goes something like this:

But since we have no "overworld" of The Way, so to speak, it could be a regular ol' planet sphere, like this:

Image

Red being the perceived path of The Way (though given the semi-varying climates of The Way, the path would likely be more to the north). The mists would then conceivably be a giant, planet-wide fog that would move latitudenaly (I illustrated that part completely wrong, but fuck it, I'm too lazy to change it now).

It entirely depends on whether or not the rolling mists exist or not.

You can't be sure that the lost city of the real way is Janwen unless you put it with the summoning pits. But still, the fact that there is any city is proof enough I supose. Back on topic...
fwacho just said he liked what Jermayu and Sarcasm said, and that alone says a lot. Though it might be the kind of thing that was never compleatly discussed by lun and fwacho. Also, if the torus ring is the explanation of the worlds of most RPGs, wouldn't lun then use something diffrent? I think fwacho said somewhere that lun likes to make fun of conventional plot techniques, and though that doesn't directly apply, it might still have some barring on the matter.

PS. Thanks for the explination of the Jeramyu. I had never heard of that idea myself. (Big surprise there :P)

To be fair, Fwacho simply said he "liked" their idea. That means absolutely nothing as far as how true they are. For all we know, this could be a topic that Lun and Fwacho disagreed on, Fwacho liked the idea of a planet, Lun liked the idea of a torus. This is all hypothetical of course; I'm just saying.

Maybe he likes it because he knows we're completely off course.
