14. And JLAF, get some ADHD pills. the intro is less than 5 mins long. And compared to the way's, that's not bad.

Did I ever tell you why I got past the first five minutes of the way? It's because everyone was ranting and raving about it, so I thought it would get better. Way 1 really needs to be re-made with like... better gameplay... the problem is that every single element of the way evolved as it goes on, so it starts out really slow.
However, the way did a MUCH better job than this game, because it had a few things:

1. A shiny intro
2. At least one character you're interested in (PS for me)
3. A lot of systems that are clearly GOING to evolve (seen in the CMS)
4. Actual gameplay a few minutes in (Even if the plunge sucks at first...)
5. CAPITALIZATION OF LETTERS
6. Well written dialogue that doesn't seem like you're making it up as you go alone.
7. A really funny ending (which alone convinced me to try e2)

Even so, I would not have played The Way through had it not been for word of mouth. I know it seems ADD, but GUESS WHAT? I've talked to hollywood lawyers many times before, and the most important part of a movie it the BEGINNING. If you don't grab their attention, they're liable to get a bad first impression leave. SAME THING GOES FOR GAMES, ONLY MORE SO. However, because I had heard so much about the way, my first impression didn't cut me off. However, I have talked to many people who play e1 and quit because it s the worst part of the series. It makes sense that that would be true because of how the level system, plunge, plot and other such things work, but it's still the biggest problem with the series to date.[/list]

If you weren't lazy enough to click the forum link i put at first, you'd've seen that people from the ludiyan fantasy's forum downloaded it, and posted about it. How could i created 4+ accounts in 5 seconds that already have 200+ posts?

JLAF, so what if this game hasn't been recommended by anyone here yet? it has on the main forum i'm at.

My advice is to actually spend 30 minutes of your life, try my game and get to the good parts near the end of the demo. If you don't wanna, whatever. But you can't dis what you haven't tried.

I'm not going to even try his demo, because I'm not one to enjoy looking at an unfinished product. However, I advise you not to make generalizations until you see the finished product. If you turn out right, good for you, sucks for stedar. If he proves your ass wrong, you are one dumb-ass motherfucker for assuming. Let things take it's course. I'd suggest trying to be more constructive than criticizing.

Err, Actually, we -are- kinda the only people in the forum.

And I've looked in your forum, you have a bunch of idiots there that only keep saying "this has me extremely excited!!!!" over and over again, They seem to be the equivalents of Gaia users in intellect, so you can't really call them people, perhaps sentient plants is a term that fits better.

You've said this demo is 2.0, right? well, keep to your promise and go away, as its no longer your 1st demo.

He calls it v2.0 in the posts but the game says 1.1, wtf?! Yeah, I downloaded the game I tried it and I puked violently. It was really badly done, what can I day, the monlogue of the main character should be cut out entirely, you can't just cut between a conversation and monologue like that becuase IT'S A PILE OF DOG SHIT. The intro was done very badly, you should get rid of the sprite walking at the bottom becuase it just looked sucky. Chnage the panorama background thing, cloudy sky just doesn't go, either have space or just all black as it'll go with it a whole damn side better. And for fuck's sake Stedar, take some constructive criticism for once in your sad pussy-foot life.

I can tell by your posts that you agree with this anyway! So why do you take me so seriously? I have NO BASIS for what I say! Lighten up dude.

As for not having fans, I'm not FAULTING you on that, but I said just using the way as an example of why a good game with a bad start doesn't (normally) work, just as you used the way as an example of a game with a slow start. If this game is good and I hear a lot of good reviews for it (which it will get if it's good) then I'll be temped to play the rest ok?

In summarization: I don't know ANYTHING about this game. WHY DO YOU YELL AT ME WHEN I COMMENT ON THE FIRST TWO MINUTES!?

PS. That list of things that was wrong, that's what wrong in the first two minutes. If it's wrong later on, I have no idea.

I said I'd find out what's wrong. He said I wouldn't be able to. I have an inclination to respond to everything said to me so I told him that the first fife minutes board me so I just wasn't even going to try the whole thing, so I really couldn't critique it. He said that I should try it because it's slow start wasn't as long as The Way. I felt at the point he needed to know why I played The Way, which also had a slow start, but not his game. He started to get mad at me for saying the game was bad. I decided that I needed to bring up my first comment saying that I really wasn't going to give any views, because people seemed to think that I was talking about the game at large.
I know someone is going to say "OMGWTFBBQ! YOU HAVE GIVEN VEIWS NOOB!!!!" Yeah, on the first two minutes. That's IT. This applies to the first two minutes. I am in no way insulting the game at large. Understand? GOOD.
