Ok Stedar, i've played your game and these are my honest opinions.
too much jumping around, music doesn't fit (sort this out please) and was hard work to get through.
Graphics were good and your attention to detail on maps is excellent, those events you put in made it smoother, in contrast to the story, which whilst possibly good in concept is presented with pants results.
The dialougue is poor too. It's not childish, it just lacks depth. the whole demo could be made shorter, just refine it. Ok, so it's a demo, but what you release in these terms should be refined, not a draft. It has the air of the superfluess throughout, it permeates everything about it.
There is way to much cutscenes and flashbacks in order to make up for the character depth which is lacking. This is also flaccid and flabby though, it needs as much care as your maps and it just doesn't get it. The quantity of gameplay is insanely low.
By contrast, the introduction of the herblore system and the jumping system are good, and once again I commend your programming.
The whole game lacks speed and precision though ,which is so frustrating. A game should not take effort to get through, but this did. The character speed could be higher, but the scroll speed of the text must increase. if that was sorted, the music was sorted and some more gameplay were added then the game would become passable instead of crap, which it currently is. For gameplay you could turn the cutscene fighting like with fake Nils or with the guards outside the castle into something like standard rpg maker battles, or similar.
It's good that it wouldn't take too much work to make it so much better though.
Finally, it isn't without further adieu, it's without further ado, because the former means without further farewells and the correct means without further delay. Also, the duel against Wind didn't function.
Good Luck

"I can't get my teeth out"
