I've got to say that my friends that work at the Jet Propulsion Lab that's nearby were a major influence to even listening to them, this summer at least. I mean, I may have pulled that "gamer" dealy if I were desperate and stupid enough to provoke a mac fanatic, but that changed. I think when most computer users go online for the first few weeks, they always will stumble upon a mac fanatic that just catches them off-guard.

"What was that for?!? Ow! Seriously, who throws a shoe?"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! MACS ARE STILL AWESOME! We have *long list ensues*"

They just peruse the normal first-time areas, and somehow magnetically draw newbies to them so they can beat them with footwear or something. Not exactly a good first impression. But my point was that if you take a goddamn step back and look at macs and pcs and you're not a fucking dumbass like our good man CJ, you may just notice they're both okay and sucky in their own ways and if you end up with a macbook pro, well...good on you, you can have any OS on your laptop now. That'd be sweet.

when did i ever diss mac? I called apple evil but when did I dis mac? I don't remember dissing mac. I don't see a post of me dissing mac. I do see a post of me asking a question?

I am a hardcore gamer and don't use computers for anything much more than gaming. Sure it's probably good for what it does, But I don't care because what it does doesn't interest me. I am looking for a computer that is ideal for gaming. Mac can run windows... meh, so can PC. PC parts are easier to find (at least they are here).

I heard that mac is better for multimedia stuff and that it has better security or something. Good for it. Sure it's a great OS but is it a great OS for a Gamer?

I'm living proof that you can play games on a Mac, because I never actually game on my PC. I just find Mac ports of games like Cave Story and various ABA games (which are great, look it up), and some kickass Mac-only games as well.
