Take a chill pill and compose yourself, kid. First of all, you're contradicting yourself by saying that GW isn't a proper source and later saying that anything is. Second, yelling at us like a complete douche isn't going to make things better, since we have little sources as it is. Because you know what, the truth of the matter is this:

No mainstream gaming magazine in their right minds would publish an article on an amateur, freeware game which gains a portion of its files from other sources and is made by a relatively unknown individual. And to top it all off, The Way was made using an illegaly translated program. They wouldn't want to unless it nets them cash.

The best we got are independent websites also made by relatively unknown people and lack merit as veritable sources as far as Wikipedia is concerned.

So unless you come up with an idea using a clear-minded head or actually find something from an official source yourself, don't start cursing at us like a panicking idiot.

We need a source by the 13th or it's gone. I say that GamingW is relatively reliable in this subject. Everyone in the rm2k community knows about it.
Wikipedia:Reliable sources wrote:Reliable sources are credible published materials with a reliable publication process; their authors are generally regarded as trustworthy, or are authoritative in relation to the subject at hand.

Wikipedia:Notability wrote:A topic is presumed to be notable if it has received significant coverage in reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject.

I think GamingW falls under this.

All I can find are a few obscure topics in random forums where The Way has suddenly popped up.

... and a myspace group dedicated to The Way.... *shudders*

the problem with gamingw is that any joe shmoe can sign up and write a review of anything - and that's what all those little sections for the way are. just random fags. if they had staff or something whose job it was to play and synopsize, that'd be a lot better.

also, if lun had more fucken information on his website.

wasn't the way nominated for ANOTHER award? i don't think it was the misao awards - i remember way back when i was first posting uih lun telling everyone to vote for the way, and linking to like a french website or something.

indie gaming sites are fine, just so long as they're established - i.e. they at least look credible, and they have a STAFF of more than one who follow the community.
there's no chance ign or fucken pc gamer would ever touch the way.

I did some polishing on the article itself, I think that if we polish it up, deletion will not be justified.

We'll lose, but we may as well go down in a glorious blaze.

Someone call in a favor and get The Way reviewed on a 'notable' site. Some ones got to have a friend somewhere that can do this.

Someone check here. I'm pretty sure this is a notable site, and I know its got rm2k games on it(Or TTHW atleast), but for some reason I cant get past the front page of the site to check if The Way is on it.

It's not there. I check it already.

If we don't find anything by 8:44 tomorrow, it's gone.

I think Lun's stated somewhere that he had the legal japanese copy of rm2k. Also, the John DeFoe adventure series was covered in PC Gamer UK, and SCMRPG was covered all over the place despite doom rips, RTP, and crappy game design.

I've got nothing for The Way sources, though. Shame.
