Is it just me, or did Rhue go way too far... *spoilers*

... with the way he spoke to Chancy? "Oh, no problem, I love helping punk kids with their pathetic problems." Honestly, Rhue. Don't take out your anger problems on innocent kids that are being shunned by their friends. You should know what it feels like, given that everyone shunned you back at Landorin.

Yeah, he should know, but the Rhue's fucked up memory thing pretty much got rid of that.

I wasn't really surprised when he did that. He's a jerk for most of the game anyway. What really surprised me was when I replayed the game and saw how... benevolent... he is at the beginning.

I do wonder though what caused him to slowly turn into someone so sarcastic and cut-throat.

You might notice, SRS, that there is a marked change after the whole deal with the Barrucha in the second episode. I think that it's one of the most critical factors in his change of personality, as that's when a significant change in his demeanor first arises and he also gives his first death threat shortly thereafter ("It's a good thing you were polite last night, Kloe" to use a not so exact quote).

Hmm, now that I think about it, that IS when he starts to change. Then again, the game wouldn't be as fun without mean ol' Rhue. The story's more interesting with a chaotic kill-everyone-until-I-find-Serena kind of person instead of a polite hello-do-you-know-where-Serena-is kind of person, if you get my drift.

Also, that line he said to Kloe was always a bit mysterious to me, but... it does seem to be a death-threat now that I think about it. I'm glad he didn't kill her though, Kloe rocks as a character.

I think the main reason Rhue becomes so nuts is becuase when he realises Cetsa has Serena's pendant, every time he gets close enough to ask her about it something always prevents him from doing so. I know I would be pissed if that kept happening to me.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.

Yeah, he has been searching the way for years (atleast as far as he thinks). As far as we know the pendant is the first clue to where Serena is that he has ever found. I dont think Rhue really makes any dramatic change until EP4, between the whole aura stealing thing with Jopaga and Lexus's death, that really fucked him up. The stuff mentioned in EP2 isn't much more then a reminder that Rhue isn't a nice guy, I meen he did (or could have) kill 3 people in EP1 for no real reason. And I'd completly blow off the death threat to Kloe, that just sounds like Rhue talking tough because he's in a position to do so.
