When i finally beat him it was some with some combination of me having risked with lunge Cut, him risked with Drop Slash, I had a finisher and used Jagged Edge. It did a 4 step injury. took about 20 tries though.

You know, when i posted that other message about him being hard, i later found out that I had been using the default file. He was EXTREMELY easy when i played through with my file. I beat him in one shot. So make sure you're using the right file. It almost seems impossible that you're still a Hylyn at that point in the game otherwise.

I thought he was rather hard, but I didn't get all the goodies in the episodes before, so my stats were only average.

I beat him on the 92th time, if anyone cares. I usually keep track of how many times I need to reload for these battles (plunges).

Risk attacks + ALWAYS the right combination saved me the 93th time.

Glad to know people found him difficult, and not just me.

Well, actually, on my second time through, he was the easiest plunge I had ever did. I was SHOCKED at how easy he was. (I was getting so much stat up items at that point.)

Anyhow, I just finished Episode 5, and was that plunge at the end of it suppose to be that easy? o_o; I whopped his butt three ways from the highway. >_>

Almost everyone with save data from the whole game can beat E5's last plunge in like one pass. Lun REALLY needs to make that harder.

The reason its so easy is because everyone goes around getting EVERYTHING in the game... I know people who had trouble because they didnt get everything.

Well, what's the point of not getting everything? It's so much more fun walking around a cave searching for all the stuff, then learning you took so long and you missed a heartstone that a guy was going to give you if you made it there in under ten minutes. XD

you donät have to get everything, but doing that helps you get other thingfs that helps you get the goodies that helps you beat the optional boss

Maybe it's because I had a pretty much perfect Rhue (or a lot of luck), but I was able to Step 4 all of the plunges in E4 within the first 3 passes (take that Lexus! I don't need your stupid advice!).
