Crossbow
Slingshot
Fist
Claw
Whip
Nunchuck
Schythe (how do you really spell that?)
Flail
Boomerang
Staff
Cane
Rod
Wand
Halberd
Darts
Pistol
Rifle

Did I miss anything?

You could try on having a non-generic weapon type.
As in not having him use a sword...
Few main characters has even had whip as weapon of choice
(except in castlevania)

Well I don't know but the thing is I want to make actual 3D cinematics for the game (which I can do

) so if I gave him anything other then a sword then I would have to make like 12 different cinematics :X I guess he could use the sword in movies thats a possibility.

cinematics is a good idea, don't worry about him having a sword, it's just I've seen to many heroes using swords, I'm fed up with it really

It sure would be cool to se a hero wielding a schythe as main weapon! :twisted:

And also, please don't have caves with chests, that's just stupid, why would anyone leave say 30000 gold pieces in a chest in a random cave?
To hide it? why not bury it?... :cry:

BUt after all, i'ts just my opinion, and it's your game :lol:

Nothing wrong with swords really.
I like them really... but what ever happened to shields?!
Not many people in these RPG's anymore have shields!

Well done but he looks a little boring and average. Like a RTP with better features. Also, I don't like his name, but that's all up to you. About his actual sprite though, make him look more real and less RTP. Drop the bulky armor and crazy hair. Besides that he's good.

Well I must say that I cannot please everyone here but there is definately some badass ideas. As far as the sprite goes I will work on him more today and get back to you guys with the second version.
