Not sure what to make of this

I did a google search of Aubuta to see what would come up. The only notable results were the forum itself, and this fanfic. The story has nothing to do with The Way as far as I can tell, but it mentions Aubuta, the mimic, the Phantom Slasher, and the reaches. I guess someone felt like borrowing a bunch of terms instead of thinking up their own. Doesn't really help us at all, but its kinda funny.

I must admit, that's the best Bases Loaded 4 fanfiction I've ever read. But yeah, name "borrowing" like that is not uncommon. Unoriginal, but not uncommon.
