A Pattern I've Noticed

Postby the_4 » Fri Aug 06, 2004 11:04 am

I've noticed what I think is a pattern emerging in the titles of the episodes, which I think could be very important.

Each installment of the story has a number assigned to it, which many of you may have noticed already. What most of you have probably missed, however, is that the number of each successive episode seems to increase by a set amount. After analysing this observation carefully, I've come to the conclusion that this set amount is 1. To put it mathematically,

For any given episode number (x), the succeeding episode number is given by the formula (x+1).

I'm pretty sure this is a major breakthrough. It certainly sheds light on some of my theories, and I am able to confidently predict that the next game will be Episode 6.

Please discuss.

Hmm.... Carry the one...

CHRIST, YOU'RE RIGHT!!

This may be the difference between winning and losing the entire game. Up until now, we could only guess as to what the next game would be. You've done your country a great service.

Holy shit, I would have never thought of that! Good thinking, the_4!
"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat." (Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio)
