Do you get anything special for beating Slade in the plunge in E5 other than 40 AR? I don't even know if I actually "beat" him because the following cutscene's always the same.

There's only one plunge against him in E5, if memory serves. Are you talking about the fight against him at the Cetsa execution?

It's just the AR.

You can thank me you got anything at all, because I found the error that prevented you from getting the AR. Yep.

Well, I did. But there were like 20 other people who would've found it anyway.

2 plunges. You start the game with one and you end it with one.

Lasting 6 rounds the first plunge prevents you from getting laughed at.

How is it deceiving? Do a lot of people lose against Strata or do the amateurs not know that you're supposed to lose the first plunge or something? :?:

<Sigh> Don't take it so seriously. Tele and I just MISREAD your topic subject and thought it said STRATA instead of SLADE.

And a lot of people do lose against Strata (now you're talking about the second fight right?), including me because I didn't use a notch item walkthrough.

And there have also been people who didn't know you HAD to lose the first plunge, but that's besides the point.

Nobody loses the second Strata plunge unless they REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SUCK. Most people can get 4-step injuries in one or two passes.

It's a matter of getting a 4-step right away. If you miss your chance, you're screwed.
