Yeah...I think the auras were released because of the explosion. The sword was releasing its true strength. Well, the sword and Rhue. I don't think he got the auras from Slade's body. Or at least not entirely from Slade's body.

There are so many threads in this whole story that are left hanging. I can't wait to see how Lun ties them all together at the end to have it make sense. I can think of about 10 things that I really want to know about and all seem interconnected. I wonder if we'll get to see the things that happened when Rhue wasn't there after it's all done or if we'll just have to infer.

Well we all know that rhue somehow absobs auras correct.. maybe the sword enhances this effect to a souldraining level.

Rhue's sword is a red onyx longsword named chakara the souldrainer.... (ripped from MUD)

but anyways rhue's sword auras are SWORD auras... remember that.

Rhue has originally a slasher and a piercer aura in his sword. Traziun seemed to sense one of them (forgot wich) and helped rhue learn how to use this new aura for his sword. I think it was before the pits somewhere that you learned the flame and wind auras and after slade you got illuminati, pandamaare, blahablaba and shobidobibu.

So if we assume that Rhueäs sword has alwayhs had access to these auras maybe they are truly released by certain event's or by proper training (hence Traziun teaching rhue piercer or smthn).

Or we assume that the sword can absord auras form other swords and therebu become stornger it would explain why Traziun didn't sense the Über auras at first..

Maybe Rhue even got the sword aura Slasher from striking Rosmar as he did to Slade, though Traziun just helped him "retrieve" it as his mind was full.

Not correct. Not ever in the game has this been mentioned. We just assume this and it is probably true. Don't take this as a fact though.

I also seem to lean more towards the fact that whether the sword is a shadow sword or an Illuminati is up to the wielder of the blade. And if tht's not the case, then I think it's the other way around. People with Shadow Swords are influenced by it and tend to do bad things, whereas people with the Illuminati tend to not abuse it.
